The cream and the DHEA were extremely helpful to get myself re-regulated. The ability to connect with the doctor was helpful getting my cream adjusted because the agitation hadn't quite subsided. But the onslaught of email was overwhelming. They were not specific to my symptoms and just felt like a massive download. So I am sure I missed out on a lot of good information since I deleted most. So I have mixed feelings about my experience.

"Excellent quality HRT and ease of getting started"

What's great about Winona is the ease of ordering and actual starting of HRT: no in office scheduling, waiting for appointments, being referred by a primary, etc... The quality of the HRT, itself, is excellent. I tried HRT a couple of years earlier from a different company and had profuse bleeding. I don't know if it was the time period during peri-menopause or the fact that it was pills and not cream, but this time with Winona, my body is reacting well to the formula through topical cream. It takes a bit to get the right dosage for your individual body's needs, but once we found the sweet spot, I have seen noticeable improvement: hot flashes reduced by 30-40% (in intensity as well as frequency), sleep improved by 15-20%, energy improved by 30-40% and mood improved by 10-15%. Unfortunately, I'm not someone who feels this is the "end-all," but if you've suffered from the above symptoms, even a small percentage of improvement is WORTH it. It is insane to be an active, youthful and fit individual and feel as if your body is being hijacked no matter how you exercise it or what you put in it. The only reason I am not giving Winona 5 stars is because communication with the assigned provider can be confusing and challenging based on how thoroughly the doctor reads your messages and answers your questions. When you can't speak to a doctor face-to-face, there is much back-and-forth and need for clarification.

I started Winona about 3 months ago and have felt better than I have in a long time. I sleep better and I have more energy. I like that I don’t have to think about picking up my prescription at the drug store, it just arrives in the mail right before I need a refill. The cost seems fair.
