"Buyer beware!"

Buyer beware! No refund is possible! Writer did not show up for the consultation I paid for, they still refused to offer a refund. The writing was extremely poor quality, the first draft was appalling. Things did did not improve from there, even after I made extensive rewrite recommendations. I felt like I could have gotten a better product from a free AI resume generator online than from this fairly costly service. I am left with no resume, an emptier bank account, and way too many regrets.

I had purchased the executive package a few years ago, but ended up not needing to use it until now. When I asked if I could still utilize their services despite the time, the people at TopResume had no issue giving me another link so I could start the process.

To begin, you essentially fill out a questionnaire. Depending on your package, there is a section where you can upload your resume (make sure it is as up to date as possible), cover letter, and a link to your LinkedIn profile. I did not have a cover letter already made, so I just uploaded my resume and the link to my LinkedIn.

After completing the questionnaire the night before, the very next morning I was matched with my writer, Manali. The next day, I received my first set of documents.

I was amazed at how perfect the LinkedIn profile re-write was. My writer was able to hit on key words for my industry, re-write my experience to look more professional, and captured my accomplishments in an amazing way. I honestly had no comments for the first round lol. With my resume and cover letter, I made a few edits and requested additional information to be added in certain sections.

The very next day, I received the second drafts of the resume and cover letter and it was perfect. With the cover letter, I honestly didn't add much except to find ways to bring experiences from my resume to my cover letter, and a few things I wanted to talk about in it. Manali was able to take my comments and turn the cover letter into something amazing.

This was such an easy experience that I really would reccomend giving TopResume a try. I was so burnt out after years of writing and re-writing my resume, that it was nice I didn't have to put much thought into this except reviewing edits and tweaking a few things.

I had from March 5th-March 12th to work with Manali on my items. I was able to get everything I needed done within this time frame. I chose the federal style resume and Manali was able to configure/format my resume to match required guidelines. I am very happy with my experience and would consider using TopResume again if I would like to create a private sector resume.
