This course has taught me how complex our global food system is. I have gained insights from many different perspectives on sustainability, paradoxes, structures, and challenges. I have listened to many thought-provoking speakers who have shared insights on innovations, structural changes, and solutions to food waste and food loss.
The onsite event was truly memorable, with visits to a restaurant owner in central Rome and IFAD's office. We also had the opportunity to visit a dairy and a farm with innovative solutions. But above all, the highlight was meeting all the course participants and having the chance to talk and discuss what we care about the most—food and sustainability. Thank you, EIIS!
