I decided to cancel because I don't really get many responses on my websites via Clickdesk (I'd been using them as a paid service for around 8 years). They responded pretty quickly asking me why I'd like to cancel and would I continue to use the service if it were free (?). So I replied saying that if what I'd be getting is the same subscription level but for free, then "yes"! - I got no reply to that email and so after a week of no responses, I then got onto their chat facility and told them to cancel my subscription because I couldn't see any way of doing so. They then continued to ask me why I'd like to cancel and it felt like hard work having to explain yet again, and eventually, after about 20 minutes, I was told I was put onto the free account and my account was no longer on a paid subscription (I asked for a chat transcript as proof that they'd done it, but they said their chat transcript wasn't working, no worries, I copied/pasted that to myself anyway....). I thought I'd see on here to check out their reviews and when I saw lots of people saying that this company continued to take payments after cancellation, I called my bank and stopped them from trying any of that nonsense (basically I'd smelled a rat already anyway and decided to make sure I didn't give them a chance). Now, my chat system doesn't work (not even the free one) as it's wanting payment so I guess I'll need to uninstall the plugin! Be careful with these guys!

Just noticed I’m no longer getting noticed of chats or messages.
The company number doesn’t work they don’t answer their own chats either and a ton of complaints about trying to cancel unsuccessfully.

We have been working for quite a while with Click Desk. Initially, the contact was good, support fast, but then about 3 years ago, they started double charging my credit card (yearly instead of 2 yearly). Unfortunately, I only found out too late. So we communicated and I was promised service until the end of 2024 (with no further payments). Nevertheless, my credit card was charged again this year (2022). Fortunately, I could get the money back through the credit card company. While the company initially was communicating with me, they eventually started ghosting me a couple of weeks ago. This is sad and really bad. When digging a little bit further, one can find out, that Click Desk is run out of India (not US as implied), none of the phone numbers on their website is working. It seems that the CEO has different companies in comparable settings. They somehow exist but try to camouflage their origin with creative customer service representative names such as "Scott" or "Henry" and so on. So if you want to avoid trouble with people who just want your money - stay away from ClickDesk.

I am leaving a frustrated and unhappy customer, unable to get a refund. We installed click desk, then noticed it would not notify us on our android phones. I contacted click desk and they said they were working on it...that took about 5 days, they sent me a link saying it was corrected. Of course it was not. I then purchased a new Galaxy phone thinking I was the problem. I was not. I then requested a cancellation, which they said they did, and to wait for an email...which never came, I contacted them again, finally got a cancelation, (I hope), only to be informed I could not get a refund because I did not complain in time...My advice is to avoid this company unless you enjoy endless time on chat with a continuing runaround.

I was happy until they didn't have the features I needed and tried to cancel. My cancellation didn't go through. After getting charged again, I was told they didn't get the cancellation. Their cancellation process has several steps. If you don't complete the survey, your cancellation doesn't go through. They won't refund me for their issues. I have a chat showing I requested to cancel on two months ago so they know I tried to cancel. But still won't refund me.

"Terrible way of running a business"
We purchased a two years prepaid plan, because on the web site they clearly say that you can modify or cancel your plan anytime, with the charge adjusted accordingly. We had to cancel our plan due to Coronavirus impact on our business. They have canceled our plan as requested, but no refund has been provided and the customer support stopped answering us. We lost over USD 1000 of prepaid, unused plan. The other odd thing is that they canceled the plan, so we cannot neither login anymore in the web site, but they kept the money. This is a terrible way of running a business and we advise against purchasing any kind of product or plan from these guys.

So we have been a client of ClickDesk for over 3 years. We have recently changed platforms and looked into a more advanced/in tone with the trends Live Chat provider, and found one (Tidio). When asking Click Desk's customer support on how to export our Customer Database, we have been told that we need to pay extra to be able to export that (Also that we have agreed to this upon creating an account, fact which is untrue). The idea of asking a customer to pay MORE for their data within someone else's possession should not be accepted! I was given a "scott" email, which I emailed TWICE with no reply.
Furthermore: You CAN'T cancel your account, because subsequently your data (That you should be allowed to OWN) will get DELETED. So we keep getting charged, even though we don't use it! Just because we value our data!

Company conveniently forgets you cancelled their services and then charges your card for another term and says you are not eligible for a refund!

Terrible service from these guys. The chat is spotty, and the people who work there are literally useless. They don't communicate and they tell you different information/timelines when dealing with billing. I got charged after cancelling my service and they have made me wait over a week for a refund (still havent received it). Billing department only refunds on "fridays" even though it was a simple paypal payment which takes two seconds to refund. Pathetic site overall and poor service.
