I had enjoyed great results using my Daewoo 17L Air Fryer SDA1032 for the last couple of years. However, several days ago, the heat function ceased which I guess, in simple terms, was equivalent to a bulb blowing! I phoned Customer Services and was told a technical colleague would be in touch by email which happened within minutes. I was asked to send a photo of my appliance as if about to use it and pertinent details of the problem. Very quickly I was asked to confirm my address and that a replacement lid would be sent. I received the replacement in perfect condition, within two days, and am again enjoying the great benefits of using such a superb product.

I ordered a kettle which was delivered free of charge. When it arrived there was a problem with it rattling when heating up as the kettle didn't sit properly on the base. I emailed, which was easy, and then next day received a response saying that a replacement would be sent and I could just dispose of the first one. Excellent service and value for money plus very easy to contact customer service - a breath of fresh air, thank you!

My contact was email and brief that was only because they delt with my enquiry so quickly . The spare part I needed was reconised ,confirmed ,then deliverd . In a friendly manner. And what's more they called me by my first name which nowadays is rare . I hope I will never have need to use you again but if I do I hope I get the same high level of service .

"I do not recommend!!"
Received a Daewoo electric kettle as a gift so cannot return. Within 2 days of light use the filter from the spout fell off and cannot be reattached even though i tried google for assistance. The lid keeps opening when the kettle boils which means that the kettle does not switch off and the kitchen fills with steam. Also even though it is not filled to its maximum the boiling water bubbles and splashes out of the spout. I would not recommend anyone buy one.

Ongoing saga over Microwave.
Daewoo Electricals !!! “ state they do not manufacture the microwave Daewoo Electronics do. Daewoo is a Brand & different companies make products under this brand name “ This is despite the warranty, instructions and help guide all showing Daewoo contact details which relate back to Daewoo Electricals .
Confused??? So it seems they allow companies to use their Brand without any control or ongoing involvement. Could you imagine BMW or Bosch allowing sub standard products to go out Branded under their name.
Or is this just a maze to avoid honouring warranty. Look at the reviews and perhaps over 25% scores of 3 or below May give you a clue. As a company this rating should be of concern, but no they seem happy to continue adding to the poor scores.
Domestic and particularly Caravan owners think hard before you purchase a Daewoo microwave or any product for that matter.

I purchased my Daewoo kettle on Amazon, and after 6 months I had a broken lid, and I was worried that it would be difficult getting through to the company, but how wrong I was! I was really happy with the speed in response, the ongoing communication and resolution with a new lid! Daewoo have made me a very happy customer and I also have a great kettle!

"Very upsetting experience and poor excuses"
Had a hoover that literally fell apart, buttons pinged off, the battery clip split and had to be held with duct tape. Even the clip that holds the pipe to the hoover and the clip on its 45 degree bend broke off.
After sending photos they asked me to dispatch the hoover to them, they had it for a week before determining no manufacturing fault and that the broken parts were damage caused by myself. I found this response very poor because you can clearly tell that at least the buttons and the pipe are broken due to how flimsy the clips are.

"Daewoo 5000 BTU A/C. Disaster!"
My original post:
Bought a Daewoo 5000 BTU A/C at my local Shoprite. WORST A/C I ever bought. Cools OK but bursts into a metallic HOWL every few minutes that lasts 4-5 seconds.
Tried to contact the company via the Website given. Dead end. The site was apparently designed to get rid of all who have a problem. NOT cool!

I am sorry but we don’t manufacture this item this is another affiliate under the Daewoo Brand.
Daewoo is a brand name and different companies manufacture different products under this brand name, we do not have any affiliation or contact details with any other companies that manufacture under the Daewoo brand.
There should be the manufacturers details on the product that should point you in the right direction or alternatively please contact the retailer / store the item was purchased from for further information.
We are sorry we have been unable to assist you further on this occasion.

This is a thin story.
A sub-standard product that bears your name and ID (in the correct logo type) isn’t yours? It’s made by a company in China that under your license you allow to tarnish your brand?
Somebody at Daewoo who holds responsibility for “brand integrity” needs to take a fresh look at this part of your business. At the very least it’s bad optics. At worst, nobody who reads this will trust the Daewoo name. Our takeaway is a question: “Is this the ‘Daewoo’ that sells us junk?"
