I can't fault Discount Cycles Direct. I ordered a bike late on a Monday evening and it was actioned the following morning; throughout the process whenever I emailed they responded promptly and were extremely helpful. No question was stupid and they answered with my best interests in mind.
I will definitely look to use them again in the future.

I've been looking around for a lightweight road bike for some time and came across some great reductions on this site.

Dan, the website manager, was very efficient and approachable. He tracked down one of the few remaining models of bike, arranged for me to pop into the store to check the frame size on a similar model and gave me a great price. When the suppliers let him down on the delivery date, he negotiated some free clothing for me - it was obvious that he had strong connections with Cannondale.

Dan's attention to detail is excellent, he communicates well and is well organised.

These guys were great from start to finish.

I chose to purchase my bike through the bike2workscheme, but I was after a very specific bike, the Sunday Model C.

I couldn't find this bike at any local bike stores so I decided to buy it online. For those that haven't used a bike scheme there is a bit of faff involved, you have to apply for vouchers, sign forms, send vouchers off, all of which can take some time. However Discount Cycles Direct website makes it very easy to start the process, they have a simple form you fill in, they get back in touch with you very quickly quickly with a quote (required for the form), in fact throughout the entire process communication was excellent.

You pay a small deposit to reserve your bike, which is only fair as (I presume with the bike I chose) the bike would need to be ordered in, but this got refunded as promised as soon as my bike was processed for delivery.

The bike arrived quickly and was well packaged. All in all a happy customer and would definitely recommend them to others looking to buy a bike.

Great service, I found the bike I wanted which was a 2014 model and was £100 cheaper than this years model, I also saw that I could purchase this on 0% finance, placed the order and had an email from Dan, really good correspondence from Dan and had everything sorted within a day, the bike came very quick and was very well packaged. would definitely recommend using these guys. Also I love the fact that I am dealing with a company which started in 1919 rather than these large corporations. Keep doing what you are doing!

I had great consultative service from the guys at Discount Cycles...don't be miss led by the name though, as the product I wanted was not discounted at all but sold at full SRP (£2,999)...thus I had to negotiate a la rug shop in a souk to get a 10% discount, but I did get one...
The communication was great, the delivery swift...although asking me to leave a review on here was the first and only follow up since I took delivery of the bike a few weeks back...a simple follow up mail to check everything was ok would have been nice... since I spent over £2.5k...
Would def. recommend though.... probably better to visit one of their stores, I am sure the service would be great...
