On a Sunday May 5 morning I ordered a rear set of Monroe air shocks absorbers from Sixity Auto Parts but soon thereafter, 2 hours later, I realized that air shocks weren't the best thing for my '02 Z28. I received a confirmation email from Sixity Auto Parts. I did reply to that email, which was a 2 hours and 19 minutes from the time that I had place the order, asking Sixity Auto Parts to cancel my order. About one hour later I even sent a second email asking Sixity Auto Parts to PLEASE cancel my order before it was too late. Furthermore, I went to Sixity Auto Parts customer service page and filled up a request to cancel my order before it was too late, of that I don't have a copy but they should have it.
Hours later, at 7:05 PM of the same day, Sunday May 5, they sent me another email telling me that the order had been shipped. It was clear that they wanted to force me, in a dishonest and malicious way to accept the order. Nobody ever mentioned anything about the cancellation until next day, Monday May 6 at 5:30 AM. They replied that they couldn't had cancel my order due to their high volume of orders being processed on a Sunday and that I should just wait for the product to arrive so I could fill a return form and they could charge me for a restocking % and return shipping fee.
Their handling of the whole thing has been unethical and malicious from the very beginning. It did look like they didn't accept my request to cancel so I ended up buying a set of Gabriel shock absorber from Amazon. I never received the product from Sixity Auto Parts, of which I through it was because, with some luck they were cancelling my order. They didn't refunded my $132.66 to my card. In the meantime Sixity Auto Parts has been asking me for a review but I do want to show everybody the dishonorable way Sixity Auto Parts took me, and most likely they could do the same thing to some unsuspecting customers.
Update.
I was contacted by Mr. Richard Saldana on June 5. He explained to me that the reason for Sixity Auto Parts no honoring the refund was that the order was made on a Sunday when the company was closed so nobody was able to take my cancellation. As soon as he new what had happened he straitened the situation right away and two days later the refund was conducted at my bank. I'm changing my review to a four stars one.
