"Limited Editions come with a premium experience"

I recently purchased my fourth Folio Limited Editon, Perdido Street Station. It’s a stunning production with every design and printing choice carefully considered. It arrived within 2 days of placing my order. When ordering Standard Editions (which are all still incredible books), the standard shipping experience is usually close to 10 days at best. One has to pay the higher premium for the shipping of Limited Editions with it being optional on other orders. I believe the long delivery time is more the fault of FedEx than Folio, but I would like there to be a middle-ground between amazing delivery and sub-par.

I recently purchased the Game of Thrones collection from folio Society. I had already read all the books, but I wanted to revisit them and this wonderful collection was the perfect opportunity to do so. I hesitated a long time to make this purchase, given the price tag for these books but I must say that I am not disappointed. The books are a joy to hold and to look at, and they somehow elevate the amazing work of George RR Martin. A couple suggestions would be to add a ribbon to serve as a page guard and to make the bookcases a little less tight, as the books are a little difficult to retrieve. Otherwise, I think this addition is just about perfect!

Although the cost of living has seen an increase in prices and shipping, this is not dissimilar to other international sellers, however the Folio Society continue to provide beautiful books with superior quality worth sharing with the whole family.

Very good. I complained about a ´chopped sale´ , which is, perhaps, from the sight of a manager a tool to make people buy more books, but for customers abroad (I mean Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain etc. etc.) it´s a catastrophy, because I collect my own bookwishes and those from friends and family to be able to split the taxes and shippingcosts. I honestly didn´t expect an answer so soon. The customerservice answered directly and offfered a great solution. I´m thrilled about it!
