Graeme was super knowledgeable. Really took his time to ensure I got the right bike for me and that it fitted properly. My second bike from Sigma and will be not hesitate to go back. Buying from a shop where you have someone to guide is much better than buying online. It is a big investment buying a bike nowadays and I felt confident I was buying the right bike.

"Competitive Prices - Terrible Service "

If you want a bike at a competitive price, and don’t care when it’s delivered then Sigma Sports are great.

However, if you want some service, especially after paying for their “premium delivery service” then I suggest you go somewhere else.

Sigma Sports have a simple policy, we will deliver when we feel like it. Regardless of how much you have paid.

If your bike breaks and you want to return it, then you need to drive to their store. Because you paid for the premium delivery service so you don’t have a box. That means they will NOT collect a bike from you for return.

Sigma Sport warranty team will replace a broken part, but only after they make you jump through enough hoops to make you feel like a criminal. And as always, they will deliver the replacement part when they feel like it.

UPDATE - RESPONSE TO SIGMA SPORTS REPLY

Thanks for the response.

You can be the third person to "look into" your premium bike delivery. So far, no one has got back to me about this. I'm curious to see if you follow your words up with actions. So far, Sigma Sports have done nothing but talk.

I was NOT given a selection of dates. The day before my delivery date, I had NOT heard from your premium delivery service. When I called the store to find out what was going on, I was told this is an external company so they couldn't tell me what was happening.

So, I'd be thrilled if you would "look into" this and get back to me with more than just an apology.

If I can return a bike with the same courier (at your expense) then you need to inform your store managers of this. As I am still unable to use the bike this is something I may use.

And finally, you want picture of the bike and the broken part for something that you sell for £30! I'm sorry but why would a customer lie about this. Your RRP for the bike was £4,500. Why make the customer jump through so many hoops for a £30 part?

And after giving you all the pictures that you need, 12 days later - I'm still waiting...

Which is why I'm still unable to ride the bike.

I know that if I bought the part from the Specialized website I would get it the next day. Yet through your warranty service, after 12 days, I'm still waiting.

That in my opinion, is terrible service.

Impressed with their response when a Trek light I bought over a year ago (so just out of warranty) stopped working. They immediately agreed to send a replacement which arrived promptly. Will definitely buy from them again.

I ordered 2 new tyres from Sigma sports on Sunday 13th of April and they arrived on Tuesday 15th of April which was earlier than expected. Great service and my order was as advertised.
