"New Multipoint Water Heater installed by WPJ"

My house does not have central heating. When I bought it, the bath was in the kitchen. In the early nineteen-nineties I had a bathroom extension built. It contained a toilet cubicle and a separate bathroom. There was a multipoint-water-heater in the toilet cubicle. The wash-basin was tiny and spilled water all over the floor, especially if I used the hot tap. There was a mixer-tap above the kitchen sink, but the hot tap soon ceased to work. In winter 2023 the multipoint-water-heater pilot-flame was blown out by a strong wind and I was unable to relight it. Then the water froze in the water-heater, and when it thawed it leaked all over the floor, so I had to turn off the water-supply to the water-heater.1

A man from WPJ Plumbers came recently and inspected the water-heater and the kitchen mixer-taps and took photographs of everything that needed replacing.

He gave me an estimate of the cost: £2400.00

A generous relative lent me the money, so the new water-heater has now been installed. It is a slightly different design from the old one. The new, larger, wash-basin in the toilet-cubicle still tends to spill water on the floor, but far less than the old one did. The workmen left some rubble on the floor, but I have now cleared it away. They also left pieces of copper-pipe and the old taps, which I shall try to sell to a scrap-metal dealer, or ask my neighbour, who has a car, to take to the Council's Recycling Centre.

I have hot taps which work! It is lovely!
I would happily recommend WPJ to anyone.
