Her final wishes were to change her funeral plan to include me to carry her coffin with the other men in her family and for us all to be in kilts, of which I have never worn. With only 7 (including weekends and bank holidays) days to go and needing a whole kilt, I hired and borrowed what I could. Trying to include the family tartan and some of my clan heritage, and wearing her late husband's kilt pin. I explained the situation in the notes to this company, and they went beyond my expectations and had the order filled and shipped within 6 hours. Just received a pair of Ancient Urquhart Tartan Argyll Trews. They are absolutely stunning. Made to my specifications by a first class tailor. I have owned two other pairs (Ancient & Weathered) both of which somehow ‘shrunk’ in my wardrobe. They were made by first class Scottish Tailors. This pair supercedes them in quality and cut. A relaxed waist to complement my ahem - spreading abdomen and Calvary cut at the bottom to look better with boots. Believe me, I went over them with a magnifying glass, I couldn’t find a stitch oot of place. Another quality purchase from a quality company. Highly recommended.
