"The computer says no" is the best description of this company. They gave us bad advise which was late and they then said it wasn't their fault?
Every time you filed something they make mistakes or can't read the simple reports printed from Sage correctly.
If your business doesn't fit in with their basic computer driven service your stuffed. Very poor communications mostly delivered by non qualified people as their so called qualified Accountants only seem to work part time.
When it comes to signing off your accountants or Tax Return you'll receive an email everyday that you haven't replied, very annoying and very amateurish service.
Find your self a local accountant and you'll be looked after a lot better than these people.

"DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE"

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Of all the service providers our UK company worked with over the last two years of its existence, Mazuma has been the absolute worst and one of my biggest regrets. Our company signed up for a year subscription with Mazuma, paying 1398 GBP from May 2017 - 2018. We did not need PAYE, VAT, Self Assessment, or any other service expect for statutory accounts and tax return (thus we were already overpaying but I had read good reviews of Mazuma and thought this would just make life easier using them). Boy was I wrong.

After 300+ emails, many phone calls, us completing our accounts ourselves in Xero to spoonfeed them our transactions, and consulting another (i.e. REAL) accountant on how the accounts should be done, we are still waiting for this deliverable which is due Feb 17th (1.5 years and haven't received a single piece of value from them).

They suffer from:
(1) horrible internal communication - we must have answered the same questions about 5 times, were continuously passed between people, and had to constantly follow up to ensure our case was being worked on.
(2) lack of accounting knowledge - I literally had to read through the HMRC website for 2 hours and then explain to them, with evidence as they didn't believe me before, of why I didn't need Self Assessment. If your company doesn't fits the very specific template that they understand in the slightest way, it's pure incompetence.

If you're looking to do your accounting on a budget, I would recommend finding a trusted one to two person accounting shop who can do your accounts painlessly for less than 400 GBP. I've found several now that I can recommend.
