"DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!"
DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!
One star is too good for this company. I was pressured in 2023 by a persistent sales team to place an advert for domiciliary carers in our local private clinic. I clearly said I only wanted a one year contract. I was pressured to sign it and didn't spot that it is an auto-renewing contract. I have just been told I have to pay another £1500+ for another year. I had NO APPLICANTS WHATSOEVER in the first year. Why would I want to renew? Small print says I have to give 6 months notice in writing and post recorded delivery to cancel. I was not given any warning notice of the renewal. I was not offered a choice of a one off contract despite making it clear to the sales team that this was all I wanted. I was not sent terms of contract to read before being pressured to sign. The contract says 'no notice to the company shall be binding unless sent in writing .... as set out overleaf.' There was nothing 'overleaf'. I tried to negotiate with this company to cancel now but they refused. They are clearly scammers preying on employers who are desperate for carers to meet ever-growing needs of vulnerable people. Avoid them like the plague.

"Scammers!"
Scammers!
They will manipulate you into signing a contract on a virtual meeting. They lie that your advert is in a hospital and will generate leads. I did my investigations by calling and visiting the hospital and there was no advert at all. The sales manager at the hospital was shocked that this company was scamming people using their name. Now they are trying to scam by supposedly offering to advertise at another hospital which is pure lies. They will act as if they are very professional but it's a network of scammers. This company deserves a zero review.

"Very good service!"
They took over the entire process and it was easy for me. Moreover, the design looked professional without errors.

"Efficient and personable, timescales too long"
They were efficient at getting back to me and made the changes I wanted. Always polite and easy to discuss suggestions with. However, sometimes it took a while for the edits to be made and new versions to be prepared. It is almost 3 months since I started this process and we've only just finished the final version. That's 3 months of not advertising my services and so time scales could be improved.

"It looks like a scam"
It looks like a scam. They called out of the cold, offered great deal and asked me to sign the contract during a zoom meeting and pay full fees on the day.
We didnt go for it, so I cant tell anything else, but I thought it was a good idea to share it here.

"Do your due diligence - PLEASE READ"
Strongly urge potential customers to do their due diligence on this organisation who are trying to sell some advertising services for minimum of £2500. Lock you in for a years contract with no guarantee of any return on investment. Medical Communication Services are underwritten by Unique Advertising so essentially an advertising company to print out small banners to pin on a noticeboard in hospitals in local area.
If they were legitimately advertising for the healthcare industry Anthony would have been a little more knowledgeable and educated in the sector his is supposed to be representing.
Ask yourselves, why would the NHS outsource MCS to promote/advertise within their hospitals??? The selling point from Jamie Norris was he was representing Rutland/Stamford Hospital and they need Domiciliary care providers like mine to advertise within the hospitals for patients.
Anthony who visited my office didn't know who the Industry was regulated by, couldn't tell me where the banners where going to be displayed (A&E, Waiting rooms). I know the local hospitals so I was forthcoming with the questions which confirmed my suspicions about the company. Anthony came into the office with a filthy tablet, sample banners he pulled out from a dirty plastic sleeve, claimed his laptop had coffee spilled on it 2 weeks ago, the banners were creased, and unclear.
MCS are based in Blackpool, why are they lurking for business in the East Midlands.
Please please DO NOT be fooled by their empty promise. No guarantee.
Anthony's words "I guarantee your phone won't stop ringing once the banners are up and what you do with those phone calls is entirely up to you to retain the business." I proposed I go to the hospital to take a look at the board where the banner will be displayed, he declined.
