"Customer Service Rude Tracy"

Usually everything is smooth but my last order I believe I accidentally uploaded my old prescription that was saved on the site instead of my new one which was also saved. The rep helping me, Ms. Tracy G (Garso I believe is her last name because she didn’t want to give me her name) instead of just helping and correcting the issue spent quite a while wanted to prove how I put the wrong prescription. Ok fine…but I already knew this because of the email I received and was just trying to correct my mistake and ensure I placed my order. Was not helpful only wanted to banter back and forth and was either slow or just trying to prove something. Very rude customer service and condescending may not do business here again after placing my last order because of my experience.

Easy ordering, best prices on contact lenses, great customer support. I placed my contact lenses order in the evening and it was shipped next day. 🤩
I am impressed. Contact Lens King is a fitting name for this company.

I did business with this company for a year I had some bad contacts. The customer service rep was very rude and not the first time this has happened with them,done with them this time!!!

"I had an extremely disappointing…"

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Contact Lens King and will never do business with them again. For years, they fulfilled my contact lens orders without issue, even with an expired prescription. Then suddenly, they refused to process my order, citing the same expired prescription they had ignored since 2022.

What made the situation worse was their complete lack of communication. Not once during those two years did they notify me that my prescription needed updating. This inconsistency left me scrambling to secure a new prescription when they abruptly denied my order. To make matters worse, customer service was dismissive, rude, and offered no solution to help me in this urgent situation.

Thankfully, I went to VisionWorks, where I received excellent service, a new prescription, and my contact lenses promptly. I cannot say the same for Contact Lens King. Their poor communication, inconsistent enforcement of policies, and horrible customer service made it clear that they do not value their customers.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Save yourself the frustration and take your business to a more reliable provider like VisionWorks or other reputable optical retailers.

"Second time wasn't a charm."

Second time wasn't a charm.
First order I did went fine. The second order I made with them unfortunately did not. I ordered with them on 10/28 and after a few weeks I reached out for an update and was told me that one of my contacts were on backorder and would be coming into their store the week of 11/11 and would be shipped. I reached out to them today (11/15) and now they are saying it will be shipped the week of 12/11. At no point did they ever reach out to me to let me know they were backordered and when I asked if they could shipped the one they have in stock now and the other one later they said I would have to pay separate shipping charges because it was not their fault that they are backordered even though they never reached out to inform me of this.

Response to CLK Response: At no point did you attempt to reach out to me about this being delayed. The only reason I found out it was on backorder is because I reached out to you. On Friday 11/8 I received this response from you:
Thank you for your order.
I do apologize for the delay. Please be advised that everything is all set with this order. We are just waiting on one of your lenses to arrive from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the CLAMF986+0075LOW power is on backorder with them and has an estimated release date of the week of 11/11 to ship to us. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email with your tracking details.
That day I called and talked to one of your service reps and asked why I wasn't contacted about them being on backorder and they told me that your company doesn't do that. They went on a whole story that they don't know what orders are on backorder until they get the physical shipment that your company receives from the contact lens manufacturer and in the shipment it lists which orders are included in the shipment and which ones are backordered. They said since they don't know until a physical shipment arrives if my contacts are a part of it or if they are on backorder then they are unable to let me know a head of time that they are on backorder (keep in mind this was a reorder that was placed on 10/28 and this response was on 11/8). Today I contacted you guys again to check on the status and this is what I received:
Thank you for your order.
I do apologize for the delay. Please be advised that everything is all set with this order. We are just waiting on one of your lenses to arrive from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the +00.75Low is still on backorder with them and now has an estimated release date of the week of 12/12 to ship to us. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email with your tracking details.
So once again the "possible" shipping time changed
(by a whole month) and no notification was sent from your company to me. The only reason I know it changed because I reached out to you. So please don't say "We do work them on a daily basis and try our best to reach out to each customer as we receive any delays" when that is obviously not the case.
Also nice job pushing all the blame on to the manufacturer with the first sentence of your response and then use "specialty lens" to make it seem like its one that is very rare when that is not true. Just take responsibility for not sending an email and apologize. Its not that hard

"Horrible Customer Service"

I ordered contact lenses on 10/21/24 and still have not received them as of 11/10/24 (20 days). The tracking number has consistently reported that the "shipping label was printed" but that also that the shipment was never received. I understand shipping problems. What I cannot accept is the complete lack of customer service available to me from this company. As a matter of fact, the confirmation that I received from them that the order was shipped didn't even come from them, it came from another company by the name of Glasses USA. BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, simply try to reach someone in "customer service" on their website. You will find that it is just a maddening morass of automated messages and pre-programmed chats that result in nothing more than instructions to "wait fifteen days from shipment" (I did) and then "wait five days for a response to this issue from us." Oh, and they charged my credit card the full amount on the day of the order. NEVER AGAIN.

"I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER…"

I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! Never got my contacts, and have been dealing with UPS and their "disputes department". What a crock of ****. They owe me $363.80 and I yet to get a refund. Do not use this company. Absolutely horrible!!!!!

"THEIR MISTAKE AND NO HELP"

They sent me an incorrect box and refused to replace it. The box hasn't been opened and it's absolutely perfect but apparently they want a picture of the entire 8 box order before they'll do anything. I don't have all the boxes as some were for my son who's in a different city. How difficult is it to get an incorrect order corrected? Order from them and you'll find out. This is my first and last order with there jerks.

Reply: Your scanning system is only as good as the person scanning it. You've made a mistake. The 8 individual boxes of contacts that I paid $400 for are no longer together, impossible to take a picture. Your return policy says NOTHING about not accepting a return unless you supply a picture so your guarantee and return policy mean nothing. I HAVE A BOX YOU SENT I DIDN'T ORDER, I DON'T NEED A HARD TIME, I NEED HELP. I NEED TO RETURN IT AND GET THE CORRECT BOX. STAY AWAY FROM CONTACT LENS KING AND THEIR MISERABLE EXCUSE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

REPLY: YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST KIND OF NIGHTMARE. YOU'D RATHER FIGHT THAN FIX.
YOU ARE ASKING THE IMPOSSIBLE, THE CONTACTS ARE NO LONGER HERE BUT FOR MINE. IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE ENTIRE ORDER. ARE YOU PURPOSELY ASKING THE IMPOSSIBLE TO WEASEL OUT OF FIXING. TERRIBLE!!!
