"Thailand and Laos trip"

There’s not enough words to express how amazing of an experience traveling with GIVE was. Going to Thailand and Laos was life changing. These trips really broke me out of my shell and pushed me out of my comfort zone. In just 28 days, I saw seen myself grow and start to become the person I have always aspired to be. I have always wanted to help people and make a difference in our world, which is why I chose to pursue social work. In Thailand and Laos, I witnessed firsthand how impactful one person can be. Along with 16 and 25 other volunteers, I saw our efforts making a significant difference in the lives of those we interacted with, fellow volunteers, local guides, and the communities that welcomed us into their villages. I would go on these trips again and again just so I could see the impact GIVE has on every person it comes into contact with. One of the most rewarding parts of this trip was seeing how GIVE listens to the needs of each village and its members. Being immersed into each culture has caused me to grow and learn. Now I can help spread awareness of permaculture, living sustainably, debunk negative stereotypes, and how to be a responsible and respectful global citizen. Thank you GIVE for the experience of a lifetime <3.

Everything about my trip to Thailand was amazing! Every single person, including each tour guide, felt like family by the second day. I felt empowered yet humbled to work alongside the kindest locals and other volunteers. I would do this trip a million times over!!

But I promise you, the instant connections with everyone on this trip can be more than enough trust to all of the guides, locals and people I was on this trip with! "Laos was beautiful!"

My trip to Laos with Give was transformative and inspiring. We had the opportunity to go on fun adventures, bond with the local community, work hard for a bigger goal, and become friends with so many people. I loved zip lining, going to the bear sanctuary, swimming in waterfalls, but the best part was the friends, jokes, and amazing people of Sopchem.

"Thailand SCUBA 2024"

Everything about my GIVE trip greatly exceeded all of my expectations!! During my short, 10-day trip to Krabi, Thailand I was able to gather so much information and insight about the world around me while also learning how to leave a positive, lasting impact through responsible travel. The people that I met, including all of the wonderful guides, SCUBA instructors, locals, and my fellow volunteers all played the most important part in having made my experience with GIVE as life-changing as it was and I am so grateful to each and every one of them! The things that I experienced and saw during my SCUBA trip in Thailand, whether that be the beauty of the people in the community and how they love each other and their environment OR the not-so-beautiful trash floating in the ocean, piled up on the beaches, and buried in the sand nearly everywhere, completely altered my view of the world and my relationship with it. I can confidently say that I want nothing more than to be a better person and a better human after my trip and GIVE has given me the knowledge and the confidence to believe that I can accomplish that, and whatever else I set my mind to! "Give Tanzania trip"

I highly recommend traveling through give volunteers. It was an experience of a lifetime and I’m looking forward to another trip with them. This is a legit program and they are very knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions through the whole process and someone was there to answer them all in a timely manner. There is a great balance of fun, work, and learning. I met so many new friends that I can count on even after the trip ended. The Tanzania program specifically was wonderful the community there is inspiring. The guides are amazing people who are there for you, very supportive, and really made the trip one to remember. If you are reading this because you’re undecided and need a sign, take this as your sign to book the Tanzania trip!

Volunteering in Thailand was the best experience of a lifetime. I got to meet so many amazing individuals including local guides, fellow volunteers, and the overall community in Mueang Khong. Traveling with Give has been the best. I am able to travel in a safe and sustainable way. I get to be involved within the community. Give directly asks the community what they need help with. We get to directly interact and learn from those around us. In Thailand I learned to live in the moment and take in each experience!
