An agent reached out right away to answer any questions and confirmed the reservation with the dive shop. She also made sure the shop was aware that I am not yet certified but will look to become so on the trip. I feel overall confident that my trip will go seamlessly.

"So far, disappointed"

This is our first booking with Padi travels and so far our experience has been far from positive: there has been a lot of unexpected changes and additional charges.
Here’s a few examples:

- Room availability: during the booking experience on the web site, all rooms were showing as available, and we based our choice between different resorts also on the fact we wanted a nice room with a sea view. There was no mention to the “room selection subject to availability” until later when we completed the booking process. We were disappointed to learn there was no room available and the only other option was to pick different dates or choose a different room.
- Free DAN Dive Insurance: during the booking, the site advertise free insurance would be available if booking through PADI, and you need to hover your mouse on a little info icon to know this is conditioned to a certain spending threshold per person; besides with our original room selection we would have been fully eligible.
- Boat dives: on the website, the dives were advertised to be easily accessible from the resort and the fact the boat is departing from a pier outside the resort is an info that has to be searched through additional links. Renting a car or take a taxi to the port was another unexpected charge to our budget.

We booked a 10-day liveaboard trip on the Palau Black Pearl through PADI. We also worked with Jazmin. We received several emails from her about our booking, payment schedule, and emails when the questions should be answered by the Black Pearl Sales Team. This is my first booking through PADI, and I'm sure I will book our next trip through PADI
