Mike showed us one that they had in store and we took it home that day and very pleased with the quality of the mattress and the customer service from Mike

We heard about your birthday sale and popped along to see what you had in stock. Looking for two mattresses. Guided by your friendly staff (William) we ended up with two mattresses that weren’t in the sale. But we have had the best nights sleep since they arrived. You even took the old ones away. Will never look anywhere else for a mattress again. Thank you hamsey thanks you William.

"Bunch of rip off merchants"

Bunch of rip off merchants. Got a Hamseys branded hybrid mattress in 2020. All from China mind you. Reckons mattress was worth over 750 quid at the time. Got it half price luckily in their usual nonsense sale (trust me its worth less than half price), another way of roping you in. Anyway after about a month, the matress sagged in the middle, most likely due to faulty coils below memory foam, only slightly, but noticable. Tried to phone the Croydon or Wallington branch and was promptly given every excuse under the sun. Seems it may have been my fault, the way the idiot salesman was going on. Anyway could not be bothered to let them in my house to assess (it was covid times) as it would gave been oh you need to pay the full cost of a new mattress under there sleep warranty crap, or reading other reviews coild have ended up with a second hand used returned mattress palmed off as new . Complete con artists. Del boy type. Do youself a favour and buy from a reputatable internet brand. I know I will be replacing this Hamseys mattress with one shortly. 2 years on sag is got a tad worse. Should not happen to a brand new mattress for 10 years plus! If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having been suckered by these reptiles, do yourself a favour and listen here, they typically sell you the firm mattress in their sale when most of us need med firm. You will be unhappy with firm so will try and return it. Instead buy a memory foam mattress topper from Ikea, its cheap and good. It will at least make it managable. The firm mattress over time will give anyway, or like mine completely fail and Hamseys wont do a thing about it after you paid your cash.

"I needed another bed"

I needed another bed, so went back to Hamsey's again, as I had received such a wonderful service last time. Mike did not disappoint me again this time and was as obliging and professional as ever - a true font of information and experience. I was with one of my clients, who is a young lady with complex needs and Mike was courteous and friendly in his treatment of her and was completely non judgmental. He is a credit to Hamsey's and I will definitely be using his shop again in the future.

I recently went into the Leatherhead branch of Hamseys and spoke to Mike. I was only looking for advice on getting a headboard and he managed to find me one that would fit my bed. Decent bloke who gave helpful advice.

Ordered a bed from Beckenham branch in January, very helpful in the shop. Delivered a couple of days ago (could of been earlier but was not convenient to us). Bed assembled in a few minutes. Would definitely recommend.
