"Beolab 3 Speakers : Very Happy Simon - Thank you James"

I have recently purchased a pair of Beolab 3 speakers. The speakers arrived as promised & they sound and look absolutely amazing. Service from James was first class and if I ever get the opportunity again to purchase Bang & Olufsen equipment / products I will not have any hesitation in returning to James and Sound-Affair. Thank you James !!

"A truly first class service"

Not only was I utterly delighted with a pair of second-hand B&O4000 speakers that I purchased from Sound Affair - I was struck by just how helpful they were when a small issue developed a few months down the line that was difficult to diagnose. They were hugely helpful in eventually tracking the issue down and getting it put right. Truly a first class experience - so thank you.

James came to our boat to collect some B and O speaker and ancillary equipment. Agreeing a value and arranging the collection was a simple process, payment was prompt and with no issues. Fully recommend him and his obvious detailed knowledge of the equipment

"Disappointing experience"

I ordered a Beolab 2 subwoofer. According to the information on the website, the Beolab 2 on offer was described as follows:
"BeoLab 2 is in stunning condition and sounds amazing. We would mark the overall condition a very strong 9/10, please view photos. A beautiful example of a BeoLab 2. Supplied with original packaging, original manuals, power and speaker cable."
The serial number and year of production were also stated.

After two weeks (delivery abroad) I received the Beolab 2 neatly packaged (original packaging from B&O). So far so good.

BUT after unpacking I was disappointed for a few reasons:
- The condition did not correspond to the description and pictures on the website. The case was dusty and there were various scratches and marks on the membranes.
- Original manuals and speaker cable were missing.
- The serial number was not identical (I received an older model)

Conclusion 1: In my case, the goods I received did not correspond to the description and the offer on the website. The condition was also not as described. The Beolab 2 I ordered (and paid for) is still offered on the retailer's website!

I emailed the dealer about the above points and asked for a response within a week. The deadline has passed - I haven't heard anything to date and probably won't hear anything again...

Conclusion 2: the high standards of product quality and customer service described on the website were not met in my case.Overall, A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.I could have just as easily ordered a used Beolab 2 on eBay.

What should the dealer do better:
- deliver exactly the product described, ordered and paid for
- deliver the quality of the product offered and promised
- deliver the accessories described in full
- Improve customer service (respond to inquiries)
