Excellent service from HomeSnag on our newbuild apartment. We chose HomeSnag because of the superb reviews on Trustpilot. They had a free appointment slot only one week ahead which was great. We could not be at the property so Lee collected the key from the sales office without problem. We received the detailed report the following day with three documents - a summary, a 23 page detailed report with photographs of each snag, a sortable Excel spreadsheet. We submitted the report and spreadsheet to the builder who has agreed to all. Lee found many things that we had not noticed. We are delighted with HomeSnag and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Having a comprehensive pro snag list helped massively in getting the site team to action snags and also to use as a ‘live list’ of what’s still to be done and as a reference of the issue via images (all snags are also detailed photographically).

People get an HPI when they buy a £10,000 car, yet don’t get their £3-4-500k home independently inspected. Just get these guys on the case.

Sadly, there are still a number of the 250+ snags originally highlighted still to action six-months on from completion - so I could only wish that the builders were as efficient and professional as HomeSnag were from start to finish.

"Worth every penny"

The inspector was knowledgeable, friendly and commicated any issues brilliantly. The inspection was thorough despite us already having a lot of stuff moved in. We were given the opportunity to ask questions on identified issues and we got a guided tour of the most critical issues at the end of the inspection.

They found a lot of things we'd missed despite us being at the property for several days.

They really did go above and beyond helping us fix some DIY issues while they were here too!
