"My Balkan trip 31/08/24"

I am amazed how travel talk takes their customers satisfaction seriously. I recently wrote a review which I feel I need to take down after travel talk explained to me where they’re at with my issue. I am satisfied with their explanation and will definitely use them again in future travels. One thing I’m going to say too is that I feel safe with them. No one gets left behind. Head counting was a must before the bus leaves for the next destination.
It’s nice to know that when you’re in a strange country, someone out there looks out for the safety of everyone.
I will definitely recommend the Balkan trip (a colleague of mine is already planning to with her daughter) - first of the many I’m going to book for this company.

"Communication breakdown in hotel booking and charges you more if paid in other currency other than GBP"

Firstly I paid more than anyone on the trip to go on the Balkans and it's a share room too! I paid AUD2,500 for a share room and single room was AUD3,500 while another guy paid GBP1,500 for a single room on a same 12 days tour.

Then the customer service doesnt talk to people booking the room. They book me a triple share room (as in their terms and condition they can) and one of us need to sleep on a sofa bed! I dont pay full price (more than anyone on the trip) to sleep on a sofa bed! Zero checking and when you complaint instead of checking if they can help with availability of hotel rooms, they came up IT’S PEAK SEASON AND NO AVAILABLE ROOMS. ZERO customer service when they f*&k up! This does not apply to just 1 hotel but several hotels. Funny part is Travel talk thinks it’s ok to book someone on a tour a sofa bed. Lucky the tour leader sorted it out and charge their company for the extra room as Travel talk refuses to do nothing about it.

Rooms were tiny and no way it would be comfortable to have a triple share room. Plus once you check in and need a good shower to get ready for dinner, no way you can make it within the time frame provided for a triple share. Triple share should never been considered in the 1st place.

A few ppl on the tour got their hotel room stuff up as well! 2 other couples (friendly men and woman couple but not dating or married but just friends) explicitly explain in their email to Travel talk and even have proof that they requested for twin bed rather than a double bed request and it’s been confirmed all ok by Travel talk and every time they arrived at the hotel, was a double bed. A complete breakdown in their customer service and the person booking the rooms. Once again, a standard comment from Travel talk when they complaint was IT’S PEAK SEASON AND NO AVAILABLE ROOMS. They say nothing they can do when they f&*k up in the first place.

The tour was amazing but the organisation and breakdown of communication between customer service and person booking the rooms is f&*k! They dump the issue on you. Lucky the tour leader sorted the hotel rooms out but had to charge their company for the extra room rather than Travel talk as Travel talk refuses to do nothing about it or have anything to do with it. It’s bulls$$t when they came up with IT’S PEAK SEASON AND NO AVAILABLE ROOMS when they did nothing to assist with their f&&&ck up!

Plus not sure why if you pay in AUD over GBP it's cheaper in GBP even after exchange rates! I am not happy at all. There were 3 different tours and am on the 12 days to Greece. I asked all the guys on my 12 day Greece tour and one had a single room and she paid GBP1500 for a single room and I paid AUD2,500 for a shared room and not even a single room. I asked for a single room and it cost me AUD3,500. Even after conversion it’s a rip off.

Plus another girl wanted to pay extra for continue to Greece at the last minute and Travel talk once again try to rip her off and wanted to charge her £1,200 for extra 3 nights and a few days later Travel talk changed their mind to £200 but she had already booked her hotel and airfares.

"Amazing Turkey by Gulet"

Highly recommend this tour! Turkey was stunning and lots of different places were covered by the itinerary but my time was made so much better thanks to our guide Mustafa who went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing time. The gulet was definitely a highlight as was the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia which has been on my bucketlist for the longest time. Thanks TravelTalk for an unforgettable experience!

"Best of Turkey by Land - AMAZING! "

This tour was one of the best things that I've done during my travels and exceeded all expectations. The itinerary, accomodation, activities & locations visited have all been incredible. You get it all - the bustling city, history, culture, coastal beaches, & all the natural beauty that Turkey has to offer! The pace of the tour is without fault. You see so much in just 12 days but get plenty of time to relax as well.
The tour guide Mustafa is extremely knowledgeable and he takes care in his work. He looks after his passengers well and as a solo female traveller this was very comforting. He has the best recommendations for shopping/food etc, & also has a great sense of humor which lifts the whole atmosphere. Overall an amazing experience and one you should book if you're considering it. I enjoyed it that much I've already booked another tour with Travel Talk Tours! 10/10

Dude, the 12 day Turkey by land was amazing! Our guide Mustafa was extremely knowledgeable and made this a trip to remember. The bus was very comfortable & our drivers were excellent. Do this trip & I guarantee you will have a blast. Peace, Love & may the force be with you!

"Fantastic Turkey trip "

I done the 10 day Turkey land tour and had a fantastic time seeing lots of different sights in Turkey. Mustafa was an excellent tour guide, always so helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Turkey. I really enjoyed the optional hike to do part of the Lycian way which was great. Lots of great food, time to enjoy the sunshine and very comfortable hotel and coach. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see Turkey on a tour. Thank you Mustafa for an incredible trip! :)

Our 12-day trip to Türkiye was an incredible journey through time, culture, and culinary delights. From the stunning architecture of Istanbul's Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, every moment was filled with awe. The ancient ruins of Ephesus and the thermal pools of Pamukkale added to the historical richness of our adventure.
Our guide, Mustafa, was a standout highlight. His extensive knowledge and passion for Türkiye’s history and culture brought each site to life, making our experience deeply enriching and engaging. His Organisation and attention to detail ensured we could see each site in the best possible conditions.
This trip was an extraordinary blend of history, architecture, food, and culture, made perfect by the expertise of Mustafa and the excellent services of Travel Talk. Highly recommended!

This was my third tour with Travel Talk and I continue to be impressed. All the hotels and transportation were very comfortable, and Mustafa was an incredible guide! He is a knowledgeable guide and helped make the trip a fantastic one for everyone! The itinerary was great as you got to engage with so many things that make the country amazing. Türkiye is a beautiful country and if you’re thinking about visiting, you should!

12 day Best of Turkey by Gulet.
Had an amazing tour seeing different landscapes of Turkey. From the Aegean Sea of archeological sites of ancient times to the best time sailing the Mediterranean and lastly the picturesque views of Cappadocia. Mus was the best tour guide with insights of the country and its history. A highlight of the tour was definitely the hot air balloon ride, a bucket list moment and the food in Turkey!!! Definitely recommend for solo travellers and made the best of friends from all corners of the world.

Had an amazing time on our 10 day Turkey tour. Our tour guide Mustafa was a pro who was friendly and relaxed and always gave us great tips. It was a well organised with great optionals and hotel choices. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do group travel!
