They sent out a mover to quote me 3x what our move agreement was for. They did not make themselves available during this dispute, which resulted in my items not being picked up. This led to them missing the my move deadline which forced me to move the items myself. They did not provide a reimbursement of my 10% down payment for their failure to find an appropriate mover.

This company took a family members money, My cousin is very slow. She is so sweet! Her mom was in a nursing home at the time. So she was alone. A problem occurred and she could not move. She asked for her money back, and they absolutely would not give her money back. I called them from Florida and explained to him that she does not understand the contract! He was nasty and said she will not get her money back! We were so nice in asking and explaining. Do not use them ever. They steal from mentally challenged people without a drop of guilt!

Though I did not end up hiring Nationwide Moving Services, I can tell you there was a lot of deception as far as being a broker rather than a carrier. I was told managers ride with drivers to train them in proper handling of household goods which seems impossible for a broker that sells the move to one of many companies. I educated myself immediately after initial phone call and item inventory was taken. I initially put a down payment and was able to get 90% back. The cancelling process was tedious but I did it within the allowed time frame which is 72 hours. I recommend looking up FMCSA fraud guidelines and information about moving brokers and fraud before making a decision. You will pay more using a carrier. But in my opinion, it’s worth having my items handled by actual movers who have their own trucks and drivers.

If I could give them a 1/2 star I would. Our stuff was picked up on New Year’s Eve and here we are 10 days later with NO DELIVERY YET.

I got a call 2 days prior to pick up telling me our pick up is canceled. The day before pick up I get a call from Paula telling me they’re calling to confirm my pick up. I lost my mind!!!
I had already called and made other arrangements ($1400 CASH DEPOSIT)
Paula tells me it’s a man in Ft Lauderdale, right down the road from them posing as a legitimate moving company and she’s afraid if we use them our belongings might not be safe.
We stayed with Nationwide and were told our delivery would be Jan 3, 2025. Here we are on the 9th without our belongings!!!!
