This is the second time I’ve ordered, and I am just as happy as first time around! Jute rug for my dining room is very comfy, textural, and has gleaned compliments from everyone who sees it. Round jute interwoven with cotton in bright colors warms up my cold, blah kitchen floor. I am really pleased with the Natural Area rugs offerings, shipping, products!

I was uneasy about buying a natural fiber rug for my living room because in the past I found them very uncomfortable. This rug is amazing! It is thick and soft underfoot and very high quality. I feel comfortable sitting on the floor or doing yoga exercises on it. It came right away as promised. A great experience all around, I don’t often write reviews but this was such a positive experience I wanted to write one.

"BUYER BEWARE DON'T GET BURNED the sisal…"
BUYER BEWARE DON'T GET BURNED the sisal rug we ordered will not lay flat. We made the mistake of giving the rug time to settle out after being rolled up. The ripples never settled out. We were not concerned as we fully expected the rug simply to need more time. After 30 days a rug expert friend stopped in to assist. They concluded the rug is defective and the ripples are permanent. BUYER BEWARE the 30-day return policy applies to defective rugs too. The rug is also not returnable if it is considered custom. No return accepted period! They were not even interested in our returning the rug to see what the issue may be. Go figure after spending $650+ all we get is sorry. Will never buy from this company again! Very disappointed in Denver.

I ordered the black edged stair treads. They arrived quickly, in great condition, and fit the stairs perfectly as described. I wasn't sure how the texture would be on bare feet. A bit rough at first compared to the carpet treads I replaced, but am now used to it.

"Very disappointing experience"
Very disappointing experience. I was looking for a natural area rug for my home. So many rugs are made with polyurethane & I was excited to find a company that had natural fiber rugs. When I received my order…. The color was not realistic (photoshop?) and reviews said it was soft. It was literally a burlap sack for a rug. I had to pay $55 to return it. I can understand why the company would not cover shipping but they could at least offer shipping back at the price they get through fedex as a business. The rug was returned last week, but I have still not gotten confirmation it was received ( I emailed customer service & no response) — I checked tracking and it was in fact received & signed for. I can’t imagine how this company would expect return customers with this level of customer care. Some recommendations coming from someone who has spent 15 years in customer service — if you’re going to say “ hassle free returns” in bold on your website.. make it more clear that the customer pays for it. $55 for return shipping is not chump change. And this was only from San Diego to LA.. If you’re going to make the customer cover cost of return, offer to deduct the price of shipping from their refund and provide a label under your business discount. Even better…. Offer a credit towards another rug for the price the customer paid to return the rug. From this experience I will shop elsewhere.
