"I searched and got lots of quotes from…"

I searched and got lots of quotes from lots of different companies. M25 movers were the friendliest, most polite and seemingly the best for our money. I can honestly say that from start to finish I have been nothing but impressed. We were kept up to date until the moving day itself and then on the big day they were there bright and early and worked tirelessly to remove all of our items quickly and carefully. They are incredible. I cannot even begin to say how hard they worked or how great the service was.
The price was accurate no fluctuations on the day (which some movers do apparently!), they’re polite, clean, quick just all round great.

"expensive and disappointing"

For this move I was willing to spend a considerable amount of money for the convenience and stress free service of a complete moving service - I paid 995 in total. This was a one person flat move. I moved from a second and third floor flat to a third and fourth floor flat (with a distance of 70 miles between the two properties) I selected the pre-packing, crates, move, reassembly. Nothing was broken or damaged in the move.

The customer service and communication on the day of the move of a very poor quality.

More particularly I was given an 8am start - the team didn't arrive until 9.45am (45 mins late from the company's point of view who ask to allow for an hour flexibility).

There was no pre-packing - the three movers had to do all the packing on the day - I understood (and I was told) that a group of people came in advance to do the packing, this didn't happen for my move, the team therefore spent roughly 4/5 hours at my property getting everything packed and then loaded, this meant a very long day for all of us - I was ready for them to arrive from 8am at the first property and they didn't leave the second property until 9.30 pm.

In addition the adverts underline that the company packs in crates - they used boxes, when I asked why crates weren't used on this occasion I was met with a sort of tired indifference - 'how could we, how would we pick them up' this is positioned as a USP, there is no indication that the crate service is geography dependent.

Given the 1.45 hours delay the company gave me a token 25 pound discount - even with that included the move cost almost 1000 (995) - there were a number of reasons why I opted for this very complete service but it didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't recommend this company for a premium experience.

"These guys are awesome"

These guys are awesome . This is third time I’ve moved with them. Gets better every time. They are friendly and work very hard. We moved on the hottest day of the year , 30 degrees and not a moan. When they arrived the council had screwed up their parking, just a grunt and they went off and dealt with it. Same when we got to the new place and where told they couldn’t park round the back and would have to use the street.....then the lift broke !!......not once did the wonderful Eûgen grumble. All done very quickly and cheaply . I’m 58 have moved house 20 times...they are bar far the best .

"Avoid! No Face Masks, Damage to Items & Property"

M25 Movers claim that your move is insured and protected, but what they don’t tell you is that doesn’t apply to items three years or older.

They did not wear any face masks the entire time they were doing the job, until the on-site management of the new place told them to.

In the apartment though, they took them off.

During our move they damaged a clock, tv unit, Sonos speaker, another set of speakers, the wall of the building we moved into, a collectible box from our wedding amongst other items.

They also advise that the claim you make must be reasonable and cannot reflect the original price of the item. So you have to have your item refurbished by the cheapest place possible basically.

They constantly advise they’re protected by their terms and conditions; they genuinely believe that if they damaged all of your items and they were older than three years, it would be fine as they’re protected by T&C’s.

They will NOT refund you any money directly, they do what they want, and then just try and process an insurance claim, using a policy which is cheap for them but not fit for purpose for the customer.

The company has a duty of care, and they should know that they can’t just shrug their shoulders.

They will act in this manner until they’re held accountable, and if anything goes wrong you better believe you’re going to fight tooth and nail to get anything back.

If you’ve got items older than three years old, avoid them, if you want an honest company that actually cares about their customers, avoid them.

They will be taken to a small claims court, and all expenses will be reclaimed.

I’ve attempted to settle this, but they’re being difficult and I just want to make sure nobody else goes through this.

I will be leaving this review on every single review site I can find to warn as many people as possible.

"Awful"

Literally awful.

We paid for a pack and move service, neither were great and we had issues through the entire process.

The guys who turned up to pack the house had no PPE and didn't attempt to socially distance in our house so we ended up having to leave while they packed.

They packed most things in plastic crates and then used boxes we purchased to put other bits and bobs in to finish up without asking. The pack was terrible. They had squashed an expensive paintings in a box, with no protection or packaging, with glass photo frames and a mirror. They had literally thrown books in boxes and clothes were bundled up. crockery and cutlery had just been stack in boxes, again with no protection. None of this we knew until they unpacked us.

When they came to move us again, no PPE or attempt to socially distance.

They packed up fairly quickly and we noticed little care was taken when moving our stuff out of the house. Walls, doors and floors scratched.

When they arrived at the new house they started just putting things in wrong rooms, even after we asked them to put them in certain rooms. again, no PPE or care taken over anything.

We were told that they would leave the boxes with us and then return to pick them up once we have unpacked, sadly this was not the vase, instead they started just taking everything out of boxes and leaving our stuff everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Our house looked like a bombsite. They did this as they didn't want to have to come back to pick the boxes up, leaving us with jars, clothes, books and everything else you could imagine piled up all over the place.

No matter what we said they just kept unloading our belonging. We did speak to their boss and their head office and the level of customer service from them was non-existant.

When we started to put things away we noticed scratched photo frames, bikes, books bent, our bed draw broken, gauges out of our daughters bed and parcel tape stains on rugs and so much more.

Over all, unless you have no other choice, avoid avoid avoid.

"Fantastic moving company-highly recommended"

I am really surprised by the other reviews on this page. I have been using M25 Movers for several years (I have moved three times) as have many of my friends. They are a small friendly company. Everytime I've used them it has been seamless. Their prices are reasonable, their customer service is always top notch and their movers are friendly and polite. We have never had anything damaged or go missing and they have always done little helpful jobs on top, like installing equipment and hanging pictures. I continue to recommend them to anyone that I know is moving and think they're fantastic!

"WISH I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS"

WISH I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS
I am not one to write reviews but I wanted to warn anybody looking to AVOID using this company at all costs. They are the CROOKS. I used them to move out of my London flat during a refurbishment and them move back in, My experience with them is as follows:
- March 2019 (Moving out) - everything here was actually fine
- March 2020 - my goods were still in storage where I was paying £500/month. The UK has just announced a national lockdown and M25 emailed me to say storage costs were increasing by 30%. Obviously I could not move my storage to anywhere else due to the pandemic, which I am sure they were well aware of, so they manipulated the situation to their advantage to scam their customers. They also claimed this is due to the 'no government help' - what about the FURLOUGH scheme? As a small business owner I know this was of great help. Anyway I took the increase in price with a pinch of salt.
- June 2020 (Moving in) - they STOLE or LOST all my electronics. I did not realize until the last box was opened and both by 60 inch tvs, microwave, kicthen aid and sonos bars were missing. (£6k worth of goods) Initially I assumed it was a mistake and had just been left behind by accident so I called the M25 manager, Cosmin, to look into this. He assured me he would look into this and get back to me the following day. The next day there was no response from him and he ignored my emails and calls. 2 days later I finally got through to him where he confirmed my electronics were missing. He did not have the decency to tell me this himself. He then said I can only issue a 'claim' if I pay the moving out fee (my account was a direct credit so I have never not paid on time) I said I would only pay the fee if my claim was looked into.
5 days later, I receive a call from Cosmins boss, Naomi who apologizes for their behaviour and promises to makes the claims process seamless and useful. I submit the claim and after a month NOTHING - they bounced me around from manager to insurance agent to manager. When I finally followed up another manager Vlad (who is now the 3rd manager at m25 I am speaking to) writes to says

'Unfortunately due to lack of evidence we are unable to take responsibility for the claim and deny liability. We do not hold CCTV from that period of time. Our movers have not previously been accused of theft, deny any wrongdoing and there were no break-ins into the storage.
However, customer service is at the forefront of everything that we do and in these circumstances, we can offer you £1,000.00 towards your claim. We must emphasize that this is not an acceptance of liability but a goodwill gesture.'

As there is an outstanding balance on your account of £751.67, we will make you a payment of £248.33.'

DISGUSTING - these people are CROOKS, liars and I urge anyone considering moving to avoid them.

"M25 the worst and most rude and aggressive movers in London"

I moved with M25 movers and had the worst experience.
They made moving the most stressful it could be. We were moving with my little toddler who was on best behaviour, so this is not where the stress came from!!
Their man who came round to assess the price of the removal was nice, which is where the 1star comes from.
However....on the move day, their main man was exeptionally rude, agressive and dismissive. I felt nervous and scared in his presence because of his attitude.
Each time I passed him he blurted out, is there MORE? All this in this room???!? I had gone through with him what will be taken, and what not initially.
However during the move he made us feel guilty for every piece of furniture and box his team had to take. As if he was doing us a personal favor!
Then his men managed to quite badly damage some of our furniture. We showed the damages to the team leader, who also took photos of these himself. Still he refused that his team had caused the damages, in his hostile and agressive tone. I was actually afraid to write a bad review, in case I ran into this horrible man! -he's not someone you want to critisise!!
When I tried to complain about this and ask about the claim proceedure I was informed that I had to fill out the claim form within 7 days, and show original receipts as well as confirmation of repair costs! Who can do that within 7 days of a move, with a child and full-time work????
Oh and it is not possible to claim for furniture older than 5 years! I had some vintage furniture, which was damaged the worst. So i could not even claim for that.
After filing the claim I was informed that the team manager does not believe these were inflicted during the move!
I had seen the workers bang the furniture on every wall possible during the move, and asked them, why they don't for example take out the drawers of a chest of drawers to make it lighter and prevent the drawers banging into the walls and banisters?
What proof does one have of pre and post move damage to furniture?!?! Who photographs their furniture before the move in meticluus detail?

I have since moved with another company, ohhh the difference! I wast treated politely, like an average paying customer. I don't have high expectations but just to be spoken to in a friendly manner, and get the move done without damages.

But oh not M25 movers! It was the worst most stressful and exhausting move with them!!
