"Do NOT use this company.."
Do NOT use this company... Absolute cowboys that will try and rip you off... Will pretend to be cheapest on market and heavily advertise on Google to have their name come up as first on search... DO NOT BE DECEIVED!!!!
I would give them 0 stars if i could.
Use 'Wrong Fuel Fixer' instead... much cheaper and a third of the cost.. Much more professional as well.

"Superb job!"
Steve came out to fix my car within an hour. From the beginning he was helpful and put my mind at ease. He clearly explained the process of what he was going to do and then got on with it. Steve is a friendly guy and amazing representative of the company. His work was exemplary. He successfully drained the wrong fuel from my car and with my permission followed me a short distance afterwards to make sure the car drove ok. I even received a courtesy call later in the day to ensure that all was well. I am so relieved that my car was fixed and would recommend Fuel Fixer again any day! Worth the money spent. Thanks Steve

"What can I say….Ady the super fuel fixer"
What can I say….. Ady is the MAN!!!!! What we thought was a thoughtless mistake which put an end to our night away….. along came Ady who save the day!
After adding petrol to our diesel car and getting no joy with RAC, quick search on google to find The Fuel Fixer…. A short phone call, they put our minds at ease that this would all be sorted within the hour…. Along came Ady who arrived exactly when they said he would….. he came along and made a bad situation so much better, with his jokes and and amazing energy….. we can’t thank him enough….. all smiles at the end of the night 😁 although really hope we don’t need him again…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Amazing service by Steve, my mistake, wonderfully recovery by you. Thanks!"
Our fuel fixer, Steve was an absolute gem, a brilliant gentleman. It was absolutely freezing (-5), he dealt with everything efficiently from arriving promptly, working through the paperwork, dealing with my mis-fuel mistake, payment and advise on next steps to help ensure the car runs smoothly.
He drained the tank and the fuel system. Added some petrol and methodically worked through getting the car running again. My daughter was super excited to have her car running again. Thank you very much! Faultless customer service, delivered with a smile and sealed with a handshake. Makes my misfortune well worth the opportunity to experience such a great customer service and most of all such a gentleman. Fuel Fixer Ltd, Steve is a brilliant asset to your organisation.
Steve, thank you, hope you have a great weekend with the family.

"A Disappointing Experience with Fuel Fixer Ltd"
A Disappointing Experience with Fuel Fixer Ltd – A Review of Their Sales Practices.
Whilst I must acknowledge that the technicians at Fuel Fixer Ltd generally seem competent and capable of performing their tasks, this review is focused on the troubling practices of their sales division and the company’s treatment of vulnerable customers, particularly lone women.
Commission-Driven Sales Tactics and Inflated Pricing -
Fuel Fixer Ltd operates on a commission-based sales model - Their sales team appears incentivized to inflate prices, often basing quotes not on fixed rates but on subjective factors such as the type of car and perceived vulnerability of the customer. My experience revealed a troubling pattern: quotes provided to lone female drivers were consistently higher than those given to male drivers calling from the same location and with the same vehicle.
Questionable Deposit Practices -
The deposit scheme employed by Fuel Fixer is deeply concerning. Deposits charged to female customers are often significantly higher than those requested from male customers. Additionally, there are no clear terms and conditions provided for the deposit, and obtaining a refund is unnecessarily complicated. This lack of transparency seems designed to pressure customers into using their services, leveraging the deposit as a form of manipulation. If you’ve experienced this, I strongly encourage you to contact your local Trading Standards or Citizens Advice Bureau—they can help you recover your deposit.
Harassment and Pricing Manipulation -
Fuel Fixer employs aggressive tactics to secure the job. Customers report receiving repeated calls, often from different numbers, pressuring them to proceed. If the customer hesitates, the sales team may suddenly offer a significantly reduced quote after claiming to have "spoken to a manager." One documented case involved an initial quote of £600 being dropped to £270—a staggering £330 reduction. This practice raises serious ethical concerns about their pricing structure and intent.
Negative Competitor Comments -
Fuel Fixer’s sales representatives frequently disparage competitors, claiming they’ve had to rectify other companies’ work. This is an unprofessional and unsubstantiated tactic to justify their inflated prices.
Misleading Warranty Claims -
The company’s warranty scheme is another questionable aspect. Despite advertising a warranty, there is no visible or accessible warranty wording on their website. This so-called "warranty" seems to be a sales ploy, as it’s unclear what value it provides for an issue caused by the customer’s own mistake.
Hidden Costs -
Fuel Fixer’s quotes often exclude VAT, fuel, and cleaning additives, which are only disclosed after the technician arrives. While the inclusion of fuel and additives is understandable, the deliberate omission of VAT upfront is a sharp practice. Customers are blindsided by additional charges, further inflating the already high cost.
Exorbitant Pricing Compared to Industry Standards -
Local independent fuel drain companies typically charge between £150-£200 for a standard drain. Major providers like the AA and RAC charge approximately £250-£300 for similar services. In stark contrast, Fuel Fixer’s pricing can skyrocket, with some customers reportedly being charged nearly £900 for a fuel drain—especially if they drive high-end vehicles. Female customers appear to be disproportionately targeted with these inflated rates.
Final Thoughts -
While the technicians at Fuel Fixer Ltd seem to perform their tasks competently, the sales practices of the company leave much to be desired. Their commission-driven model encourages predatory pricing, aggressive sales tactics, and a lack of transparency that preys on vulnerable customers, particularly lone women.
If you’re considering using their services, I strongly recommend exploring alternative providers who offer transparent, fair pricing without the pressure tactics.
Fuel Fixer’s sales practices need significant reform to align with ethical business standards.
