This is rather too early to say how efficient the Alarm system will be, but I would have liked a clearer detailed instruction manual, which was obviously written by those who are familiar with the mechanisms.
I have not installed the system as yet because I do not want to cause any damage to the unit gaining access to the various components. From the directions that I do have, it seems that I am experiencing a number of occasions where better explanation would make fitting this alarm much more easily attained. (As an example:- Please connect the 9V battery and press the on/off button prior. Please note, after charging the battery for 12-24 hrs remove the 9V battery.
When installed as part of an ERA alarm System, the Siren must be registered to the control panel only.
When installed as a Siren only System (Without a control panel), all of the Alarm Accessories must be registered to the Siren).
Does this mean that the 9V battery should be replaced if a Siren only system is to be used? Finally, the writing on the battery says; Warning: Battery may explode or leak if recharged or disposed of in fire).
I will get it going eventually but so far I am not impressed.

I found the written instructions difficult to follow but the help I got from Response was good and cleared up my my problems. I find I am finding things out about the system each day, I am on day 3 of using the system.

Ordered an ERA Valiant starter alarm kit, it arrived next day. Excellent product, works very well. Had to email a query to clear up a couple of points not explained well in the manual and received a phone call next day to clear that up. Other than that, well satisfied.

Order was delivered in two days. Well done! Nice, sturdy units. Everything was fine, until I tried to install it.
For some reason, the instruction manual is printed on blue paper, with small white letters on it. My 70 year old eyes struggled with it. Specially as some of the words are printed in blue too. Eventually had to download and read it on my tablet. Unlike the old Response manuals this one has very limited. There was very little information on the use of the app. Had to work through it the hard way to eventually get everything set up, and named the way I wanted them. One thing I must say though, the technical help guys are very good, pleasant and knowledgeable. Full five stars to them.
Once set up the system works really well. Very happy with it.
