"Sam and Dave delivered the potting shed…"

Sam and Dave delivered the potting shed and tool shed yesterday in some foul weather but they were very professional, They identified a problem with our base and went to the nearest company site to build the base on site, They were good humoured and pleasant throughout. The date for them to return was arranged on the day,

2 drives just delivered on my close, just driven all over the boggy grass which is now complety ruined, no respect for other people's property.
Then they buggered off.
Not Happy.

"Like others reviews, problems with leaking and customer service"

When purchasing I was told the roofing material was durable. Like other reviewers, our summerhouse leaked. We have had several sheds from other companies, and never had this problem before. They have lasted years before any issues with the roofing felt occurred. When we looked at the roof, to see where the leak came from the material was very thin and had been applied poorly with loose areas. This has resulted in lifting in one piece and cracking of the felt in several others, and hence leaking. The customer service manger said they would not repair it. They gave a quote for the repair. They then doubled that the following day. I have no trust in them. Do not buy. Go elsewhere

"Fantastic product with excellent customer service"

We ordered our Apex shed a few weeks ago. Due to Covid the company is extremely busy. We explained our predicament and why we needed the shed urgently. They were so helpful and managed to fit us in on a Saturday delivery. Jiri and Sam came to deliver and erect our new shed a few days ago. The gap for the shed was very tight but Jiri and Sam fitted the shed to the gap and could not have been more helpful, professional and accommodating. They were an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
The shed is of wonderful quality and is our 3rd product from Solid Sheds. We have had a log store and a tool store for many years and they are still going strong.
I would highly recommend this company and a massive thank you to Jiri and Sam.

Following personal recommendation ,we chose to order our summer house with Solid Sheds. We were kept informed of our order , offered supportive advice during the process and were given comprehensive instructions to prepare the site .
Our base was not quite big enough , so a timber frame base was discussed with us and that was added to the order , without affecting the time frame for delivery ...
On the day we had booked the installers arrived promptly and effectively began to assemble the base and summer house . The weather was dreadful
But Jiri and Sam were professional , courteous , helpful , informative and unobtrusive .. they worked diligently and invited me to view our lovely new summer house when it was completed .. they worked as an excellent team and left no mess , and I have to say professionally completed the job in excellent time ..
Overall we would thoroughly recommend Solid Sheds and have no hesitation to do so . Our thanks again to the office staff ( I think we spoke with Deborah ) , And especially Jiri and Sam for their diligence in ensuring we were delivered the best service possible .. Many thanks .

"Nailed felt roof"

Bought a shed about 3 years ago , shed is ok just water coming through the roof so I had look couldn’t believe that they had nailed a felt roof to the shed . Called customer service to ask why it’s nailed and got told that’s how they used to do them but they’ve changed it. He Then explained if the wind lifts the felt it will raise the nails making the hole bigger quite obvious I thought. Offered to reflect it at a charge , no thanks poor customer service would not recommend.

"Apex shed"

We had a 5'x7' apex roof shed from Solid sheds. Cant fault the quality of the shed. In fact its great. We had to have the roof felt re done as it was fitted on a really hot day and the fitters damaged the felt whilst applying it. I had to ring customers service to report it as the fitters didnt point the damage out to me and probably thought they could get away with it but after sending pics of the damage to the customer service manager, he sent the fitters back to replace it a week later. A better job done second time around. My only real negative is the the fitters were so miserable and on the first visit to assemble the shed one of the guys was throwing stuff all over the place. Stuff that I had paid for. The other guy was in a better mood but when they came back to repair the damaged felt it was the other one that was miserable and wouldn't communicate.
So former it was the fitters that spoit the experience for me and when we get around to replacing our other shed I will be going elsewhere unfortunately.

"Customer service a complete let-down"

Appears to be a good quality product but (and it’s a very big but) the company is let down by dreadful customer service. Our structure was delivered with undersized doors. On pointing this out we were initially told that the defect would be remedied; then that it couldn’t be remedied at all; then that it could be - but at an additional cost by which we had allegedly been undercharged at the outset (regardless of the fact that we had agreed - and paid in full - their total price four months earlier). Dealing with their ‘customer service manager’ was gruelling: an object lesson in how not to treat unhappy customers. We had a further order lined up for them but will not use them again.

"Cannot recommend Solid Sheds enough"

Cannot recommend Solid Sheds enough, excellent service from start to finish. After looking at lots of other websites I went to our local Solid Shed outlet at Trowel Garden Centre to have a look & was very impressed with the quality, Mark the sales guy was very helpful as I wanted an apex shed but with the door on the side & showed me what was available. On the day of installation the guys arrived & got on with it right away, they did an excellent job & the shed looks great. Just got to wait for the shed to dry out as recommended & can then paint it with the free paint. Sheds are one of the things that you get what you pay for but with Solid Sheds you get alot for your money & a great shed that will last for years.

Solid Sheds has provided us with a 1st class service. We needed a slight change to their usual sized sheds and they could not be more accommodating. They arrived on time to build it, they were efficient, courteous, fast and professional, left no mess at all, just a beautiful, sturdy, quality shed with after care advice and we are delighted with it. Everyone in the company from point of order has been friendly, helpful and professional and they are clearly very well trained by management that takes pride in excellent customer service and highest professional standards. Their sheds are of very high quality and are built to last with lots of thought having gone into the design and structure. They are very reasonably priced and it’s great to visit their display sites at various garden centres to actually step in and see their vast selection, not only seeing them in the brochure (although their brochure is brilliant and very helpful too!). I would highly recommend Solid Sheds. We couldn’t have asked for a better service. Thank you very much!
