"No customer service, terrible product. Don't buy any of their bi-fold!! Read others review .. don't buy!"
Main handle came off after just 3 months. Difficult to open and close. No customer service at all as they will refer you back to where you purchase the door. The shop went down so Synseal doesn't give a damn. I would suggest not to deal with a company that doesn't give a damn to their customer and product.
The rubber edging fell off. You can read all the review and all having same story.

"Synseal now called Aperture. Conservatory blinds invalidates 10 year warranty."
Don't know what difference the takeover makes but here's my Synseal tale of woe.Wish I'd read these reviews before buying, as many more of you do.
I bought a lean-to K2 conservatory from DIY2GO a couple of years ago. No real problems with them.
Had problems with the delivery - parts missing/damaged.
Synseal customer services is a joke of a name.
Got it put up and one door was warped. Synseal had me jumping through hoops with countless emails/photos/measurements. Their technical guy finally said they'd send an engineer. I asked why, because it was obvious the door was warped. He said, 'Ah, he has a special machine he clamps around the door which heats it up and pulls it straight.'
Fair enough. Weeks later the engineer came. I asked about the machine. He laughed, cos he'd never heard of it. 'The frame's been made short on one side. It needs a new one.' Surprise.
Anyway, I eventually got the new door fitted.
Last year I had some drips coming from the bottom of the window beadings.
Contacted DIY2GO who passed it on to Synseal.
More hoops. Photos/measurements.
They replied saying my Perfect Fit blinds had caused the problem, and my 10 year warranty was now void. So, no matter what the problem - they included a list of problems blinds can cause - I've no warranty.
I wrote with a list of questions, mainly wanting to know where it said that on the warranty, and why did Synseal/DIY2GO show photos of blinds on their conservatories, and in many places encourage buyers with tales of turning your conservatory into a proper room with blinds.
They didn't respond to this very clearly, obviously, except to tell me they wouldn't answer any more questions.
I contacted Advertising Standards Authority.
They looked into it, Said they were wrong not to include the blinds voiding the warranty. DIY2GO altered their advertising.
At the bottom of each individual conservatory listing it says - Customers who install third party blinds that change, alter or damage the original design of the conservatory will void the manufacturer product warranty.
It says it in their T&C's as well.
Change/alter/damage covers every type of blind.
I wrote and asked them to reinstate my warranty in light of this change, as it didn't say it before when I bought mine.
No chance. My blinds still invalidate the warranty.
So, any of you with blinds check your warranty.
Anybody thinking of buying a conservatory from Synseal/Aperture or any conservatory supplier, check what happens if you fit blinds.
I'm not finished with them yet.

"Had warmcore bi doors now for a year."
Had warmcore bi doors now for a year.
Only opened them twice.
First time I struggled to close them. The second time had to get three people to lift them so we could close them.
Installer has tried everything and got nowhere with the supplier (DIY conservatory or Ribble roofs).
Had enough of being trapped in a house where we can't open the windows so decided to rip them out and get some fitted from a better company.
Anyone want to buy some bi-folds? One careful owner

"We bought a conservatory from Directconservatories4u"
We bought a conservatory from Directconservatories4u. Nigel who helped us design the conservatory is very good and knowledgeable. He assisted us throughout the process.
The day of delivery went wrong, as the roof was missing. So a second delivery was scheduled.
Once my builder started constructing the conservatory they noticed the bricks on the dwarf wall were put on in a very bad shape. Not straight, some hanging loose, some hanging over the border, others cracked. They fixed it nicely for me but it wasn't up to a good standard.
The conservatory was build halfway through and when starting with the front it was clear the company send me the wrong front window sizes. We called DC4U and were told to contact the manufacturer to clear this out.
We were then offered to have new windows send out to us, which would take a couple of days, but, because this was just before Xmas and because my builder was booked till March we couldn't accept this solution.
A half build conservatory standing there for weeks with children playing around is just not safe + a very good storm and all my panels would just be at risk of being damaged.
So my builder spend an extra day figuring out how to rectify things.
DC4U was not willing to pay even half of the additional money I had to pay my builder nor to refund the front wrongly delivered windows.
Other then that: spider cap for the roof damaged, bar from the base missing, plastic from for windows damaged, front outside cill damaged... A lot of damaged items delivered for which I called several times to get replacements, which we got, but they shouldn't have been delivered in the 1st place.
The terms and conditions on their website state: we will replace or refund the wrongly supplied goods. But, in their case it is replace only and a refund of 40% of my extra cost to the builder as a gesture of "goodwill". Strange how a company can deliver wrong items, refuses to take responsibility and then talks about goodwill...
My advice: go elsewhere, find a company where you count as a customer, even after paying and deliver

"Bowed door."
We purchased our conservatory through directconservatories4U who gave us exemplary service from design to delivery times. This can also be said about Durabase who supplied the frame and dwarf wall.
But, when it comes to Synseal, forget it. The problem started with the door opening the wrong way but, to be honest, we don't know who was at fault here but, what I do know is that the door was bowed through being strapped down too tightly on the top of the windows etc on the pallet.
Because the door was manufactured the wrong way, our contractor who had his own double glazing business, turned the door around so that it opened the right way which he said was an easy task. But, because he has corrected a mistake, Synseal have cancelled the warranty on the door and will not replace it unless I pay for a new door.
I would have thought that as it was their transport that delivered this damaged door, a bit of goodwill would be in order and a door supplied free of charge. On top of this, when the sun shines on the door, it expands and can't be closed or opened.
Emails to the CEO go unanswered and support is non existent except for a window that once opened, cannot be closed without a lot of jiggling about. Wouldn't recommend this company.

"NEVER, NEVER, NEVER BUYFROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!"
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I am devastated by the 2+ years of hell I have gone through and I am still going through it to this day. I thought I was the only person with these problems but now I find, I am one of a growing number of people, who have had the same or similar issues with their Warmcore Synseal products.
Synseal only sell through companies that they recommend (get out clause No1)
the company they recommend to me was DDG GROUP of Dagenham, who do not fit the doors they manufacture only, from the parts bought from Synseal (get out clause No2)
1. I Bought aluminium Bi-fold doors in Nov 2015.
2. Agreed arrival date, NO door delivery (I paid for fitters twice to attend)
3. Delivered with the incorrect door furniture, different size and colour Handles.
4. Numerous calls, letters and photos required as proof that the door furniture was incorrect and 3 deliveries later, the correct ones finally arrived.
5. Internal beading framework kept falling out, hitting furniture and my head.
6. Rubber seal corner edges have dropped off and daylight shows through the gaps.
7. The screws sheared off from the external edging cover on lead door.
8. Summer 2016 THE 3 DOOR, BI-FOLDS, FELL OUT OF THE TRACKING SYSTEM.
(Thank goodness for neighbours and friends. I am a women with a DISABILITY And I had no possible chance of holding these doors in place, an extremely frightening experience)
9. I contacted DDG verbally and in writing, they passed the buck to the builder, as they don’t fit doors they only manufacture from the parts supplied to them, by Synseal.
10. My builder arrived the next day to put the doors back into the tracking so they were made safe and locked in place. They could not be made to work again and this section of door has never been opened since, as they are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
11. The bi-fold section now rests in the bottom tracking and the guiding wheel no longer sits in the top tracking. As neither the bogy wheel or the hinges are strong enough to hold the weight of 3 doors.
12. The rubber seal around the base of the frame work has perished.
13. The lead door, can only be opened by lifting it over the tracking edge, as the locking bolt does not retract correctly. This causes me extreme pain, if I try to open or close the door (essential in the extreme heat)
14. The mitre joints on most of the doors do not mitre together, they are separated.
15. DDG Windows refused to visit the site unless I paid them £400 to do so. Even though I highlighted all the issues and that they advertise a 10 year guarantee that cover all parts. Apparently this guarantee doesn’t cover any part on my doors?
They then accused me, in writing, of harassment and threatened to take me to court if I contacted them again.
16. Synseal requested the batch number of the products ordered by DDG, this did not exist. They asked me to put it in writing, they then ignored the email and calls. I have just sent them the up to date correspondence last week, they responded with an email stating that my contract is with my builder and then DDG and so it goes on.
17. The hinges on the lead door have started to bend, the weight of the door has caused fatigue in this area.
18. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, 2 day ago, I found that the rubber seal that runs along the bottom of the lead door, has come apart from the frame and is now hanging off and swinging in the air.
I have now had 2 separate surveyors reports written and submitted to both parties, which highlight all issues. Any reputable company would act on these reports and rectify the problems, if only for their reputation. DDG have now agreed to visit the site (only through the intervention of my credit card company) free of charge and only if I pay for a Warmcore Synseal engineer to visit at the same time, at a cost of £250 + 40p per mile, adding another £170ish to the bill. This is not an option for me and one of the main reasons why I decided to use, what I thought was a reputable company in the first place. Trusting all the hype around the WarmCore product, I accepted Synseal’s recommendation to use a company with a 10 year guarantee, which would cover any potential problems, how wrong was I !!!!
Because these companies are able to use their get out clauses (they continuously blaming one another) Which means I have been pushed around with no resolution. I would therefore be very interested to know, if anyone has actually been able to get their issues satisfactorily rectified? If so, could you please advise as to what and how you did this.
Apart from the obvious health and safety issues, that have already been highlighted by the reviews on Trustpilot. It is now very apparent that the collective recurring issues are due to poor manufacturing and or fabrication, along with the ongoing fatigue suffered by the products. This has reached unacceptable levels and is now imperative that someone take responsibility for ALL the issues that numerous people have encountered, before there is a serious incident.
Therefore I have now decided to taking this to the TV and Newspapers, to ask for their help with these matters. If you would like to join the campaign, please contact me.

"Poor, poor product quality and awful, awful customer service"
I can’t believe what I am reading here and really wish that I had done some research after the investment in my Warmcore bi-fold doors and not afterwards. Lesson well and truely learnt.
What should have been an exciting investment for us has proved to be very upsetting and challenging. It took several attempts and 3 deliveries for us to finally receive some undamaged Warmcore Bi-fold doors from Total Glass. We were repeatedly sent damaged doors but eventually an acceptable set were supplied and installed by Paul Martin from Total Glass.
As the doors were fitted during the Winter months, the doors were only opened a handful of times and weren’t open for long. One evening a few weeks back, we were in the kitchen and my husband Adam opened the bi-fold doors and to our absolute and utter dismay, as he pulled them back they started to topple off the track. We were totally shocked this was happening. Adam managed to hold on to the doors with the help of a friend and held them in position until help arrived.
As everyone can probably imagine, watching the doors come of the run and almost land on my husband was quite traumatic. We were extremely lucky that he was there and that I wasn’t at home alone with our three young Daughters when it happened. I now do not have the confidence to open the doors.
Total Glass were informed and Paul Martin came out a few weeks later to review (despite my request for it to be done as a matter of urgency, this was not deemed to be possible).
Paul spent about 10 minutes at my property and during that time he was able to conclude that the doors were installed and manufactured correctly – an incredibly quick analysis of what could have been a fatal situation. He concluded that the reason behind the de-railing of my doors was mis-use (of course they would say that and of course this categorically not true).
We have now been told that as a result of Paul’s report, we need to pay a charge to have Synseal come out and review the doors. Given the severity of the situation, I feel this is a totally unacceptable request.
The doors have categorically and absolutely not been misused or forced in anyway. Any markings on the door or the frame/track were done in the process of the doors coming off the track/runner and in trying to get them back on so we could close them for the night. I categorically and absolutely contest their claims of mis-use or unnecessary force. I watched the whole thing and this is absolutely not what happened.
I would like my doors restoring to how they looked before this incident and all damage fixed, I would also like to be given the confidence and reassurance that this will not happen again. I am not willing to put any of my family at any further risk as this could have ended very differently.
I believe the doors are now manufactured differently (the engineer informed me of this) so I am guessing that all models over 6 months old could potentially present with the same fault as my doors (which the manufacturer will ignorantly put down to misuse).
I am so disappointed and disheartened by what should have been the icing on the cake in our beautiful new extension.

"Absolute rubbish"
Bought windows manufactured by Synseal through a company they supply to in Britannia group. Product is cheap, tacky and snaps together. Nothing is good looking about it, the product is badly made and no attention to detail is offered by the people in the factory. Handles were wonky, double glazed units were poorly made and the opening mechanisms damaged the frame. The installers did a reasonable job but they can only install what they are given. As the saying goes, you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear. My advice if you ever need replacement windows is to check who the company's windows are made by and if by Synseal avoid at all costs. Don't fall in to the Synseal trap - it is a minefield trying to rectify it. Would liked to have given no stars at all. 1 star is far too many. 12 Feb 2018 - In response to the reply from Ellie........the windows in question ARE sliding sash. They are very poorly made, are draughty, do not shut properly, the side hinges have damaged the frames by catching on them when opening, there are gaps top and bottom, the bottom sections twist and do not shut properly, they are snapped together which makes them look even tackier and how they ever got past quality control is beyond me when 2 of 4 windows are missing locks! clearly one to look at - know any good skips that will take them?
