Dear Buzz Talent team,

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience applying for an opportunity advertised by your agency. After completing an interview with Carolina, one of your representatives, I was informed that my profile was not what you were looking for.

While I respect your agency's decision to select only the candidates who best fit the opportunities offered, I felt that an assumption was made about my ability, and I was quickly dismissed without being given the opportunity to showcase my talent or skills.
Additionally, during the interview, it appeared that my ethnic or racial background was taken into account in making the decision, which left me with the impression that discrimination played a role in the talent selection process.

As someone who aspires to become a model and actress, I hope to have the opportunity to showcase my talent and work with companies.

You’ve been contacted via email on the 06/10/2022 and to this date still not received a response from you Helen I want a formal complaint logged and my money back £144 to be precise. Instead I got your bombardment of generic emails you send to your all buzz talents recipients. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL TAKE THIS FURTHER !!

"Music Video Shoot"

What a fantastic shoot we had on Friday. The crew could not do enough for us and they made the whole day a great experience. A big shout out to Jake and his team , plus the guys from the record company for giving us so much encouragement.
I don't know who picked me but I'm glad they did !
This will go down as one of the best shoots I have been part of.
Here's to the next one.

"Useless (for me)"

I joined Buzz around 2 years ago, I'd never done any extra/acting/modelling work so was quite nervous to join but they assured me that they wanted all shapes, races, sizes, ages... I found them online and enquired, but they then kept contacting me trying to get me to sign up. So I decided to give it a try. I was given a contact and told he would be looking after me if I had any questions I could contact him. But all he did was keep pushing me to sign the contract, then as soon as I joined and paid £120 all contact stopped, and I was just left.

I did not have any professional pictures so sent in a few of my own which they loaded to my profile. But then when they offered a photo shoot for I think it was about £40 I took it as it sounded reasonable. However it was in the middle of nowhere, and we were just rushed in and out, snapped quickly and not shown the photos before we had paid. We were also told it was headshots only but they did full length too and I was not prepared/dressed for that. The photos were awful, I was not ready and not used to posing but was not given guidance just a few quick snaps, obviously it was about money, they didn't care what the pictures looked like. Then you have no control over which ones they load to your profile and it only shows 4, so I was stuck with these awful washed out photos that even friends said didn't look like me!

Now, I totally understand that Buzz do not get you jobs but that casting agents look through the profiles - the terrible rushed profiles that you have no control over the photos on - to find what they want. As well as this Buzz send through loads of emails weekly with briefs that you can put yourself forward for, but these briefs are usually really really specific that I can honestly say I've never fitted any. Basically I gave up looking after about a year. But I am still getting emails, so thought I'd write a review before my contract ends soon.

Now I appreciate that this agency may work for some, from other reviews it seems a very different experience, so this is just my experience. However having spoken to others who have done castings/extras work with other agencies, they had good briefs on big films and TV shows and were never asked to pay to to join. In fact I Googled others and most you don't need to pay, they just make money when you do! So my advice is just do some research first.

I guess I should of done more research myself before I joined but I was lured in at the start by the false friendly contact making out that they would be there to contact at any time and support me. In fact not long after I joined and paid, when I then did have questions and needed to contact someone it was very difficult to get a reply.

I'm sure it really works for some, though when they put the photos on Instagram when someone gets booked, they are always very attractive model looking types, not your average Joe (just saying).

From the stunning venue through to the very welcoming team and great hospitality it really was a night to remember.

The event was so much fun and I loved seeing the extra special guests and performers it was certainly the place to be! I look forward to future events with Buzz and I can’t wait for the next one!

The LA Search team had the pleasure of attending a truly amazing charity event gala night, and I can confidently say it was one of the most inspiring and uplifting experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was electric, with everyone buzzing (pun intended) with excitement and anticipation for the evening's festivities.

The event was incredibly well-organised and executed, with a perfect balance of entertainment and heartfelt speeches. The canapes were exceptional, and the drinks flowed freely, adding to the celebratory vibe of the evening.

But what truly stood out to me was the sense of community and generosity that permeated the event. Everyone in attendance was there for a common purpose, to support the charity and its cause, and it was heartwarming to see the level of dedication and commitment on display.

Overall, I left the event feeling deeply inspired and motivated to continue supporting such worthy causes. The charity event gala night was an unforgettable experience, and I would encourage anyone looking to make a difference in the world to get involved and attend a similar event in the future.
