Ordered the 2025 Jan batch for Fluminers back in Dec 2024 and it's Feb 19th now and haven't recieved any emails or notifications of delivery status. They give poor communication on updates.

"Good buying and hosting experience"

I have placed several orders with BT-miners and hosted a handful of machines with their hosting service. I have been happy with the order experience and hosting experience thus far. The team is always responsive to inquiries (esp. shoutout to Shauna) and the hosting site has mostly been reliable with a couple small outages. When one of my miners was delivered DOA, the team had it fixed under warranty within 2 weeks, allowing me to start mining quickly.

Purchased an antminer L9 in December. The customer service, and ease of purchasing was excellent. Due to this, I just purchased another one and will be purchasing from them exclusively going forward.

"Problems with hosted IceRiver KS5Ms"

Background: Purchased a KS5M miner hosted by BT-Miners in August 2024 (first online in September). Operated well for ~1 month, then experienced significant offline issues, with over 50% downtime for the past months. BT-Miners claim to be an official IceRiver repair site, but they failed to provide a resolution despite the miner being under warranty and a 95% uptime agreement. I also have 2 Antminers (KS5, KS5Pro) hosted at BT that run properly.

Key Events and Updates:
Initial Issues (Oct - Nov 2024):
Miner frequently offline; no clear explanation provided.
BT refused to send the miner for repairs or offer a replacement initially.

Repair and Diagnosis Attempts (Dec 2024):
12/3: BT began contacting IceRiver and considered warranty repair.
12/4: Miner running for only minutes at a time; various strategies tested.
12/6: BT suggested a potential control board issue and agreed to reduce hosting fees for downtime. IceRiver recommended replacing the control board.
12/19: Control board replaced, but the miner still experienced ~50% downtime. BT promised to discuss options with IceRiver, including replacement or refund, but no action yet.

Temperature-Related Findings (Late Dec 2024):
12/28: Extreme hosting temperatures (-26°C) identified as a potential cause. BT started working on a special enclosure for temperature regulation.

Improved but Inconsistent Performance (Dec 28 - Jan 2): KS5M showed brief improvement (up ~24 hours on 12/28 and 12/30) but continued sporadic downtime.
BT repeatedly promised to adjust hosting fees, but no reductions were made.

Current Status (Jan 2025):
1/2-1/3: Miner down again. BT acknowledged similar issues with all IceRiver KS5M miners and admitted difficulty managing them.

Outstanding issues include unmet promises for refunds/replacements, lack of reduced hosting fees, and unresolved downtime problems.

Review of BT-Miners:
Strengths: Initially responsive in diagnosing issues and contacting IceRiver.
Hosted Antminers run properly.

Weaknesses:
Poor communication and delayed responses.
Failure to honor promises of hosting fee adjustments or replacements.
Unacceptable downtime (>>50%) and inadequate handling of IceRiver miner-specific issues.

Conclusion:
BT-Miners have failed to meet their 95% uptime commitment and resolve persistent issues in a timely manner. Despite minor improvements and efforts, they appear ill-equipped to manage IceRiver miners, raising questions about their suitability as a hosting provider for IceRiver KS5Ms. Note that I did have 2 Antminer (KS5, KS5Pro) hosted with BT and they ran properly.

In Jan of 2025, BT announced shutting down its hosting site in NY due to new laws. They shipped out miners. Meanwhile, they still have not returned hosting deposits and refund for down-time after several weeks - I've been asking them to do this regularly - hopefully they will honor their agreement.

Feb 18 - I received the hosting deposit from BT in full.

"Zero starts is what they should get"

These people are completely incompetent. I for 3 Kaspa miners with hosting services. The hosting service is 3 months in advance and you renew by month. After repeatedly asking Shauna whether I owed anything because I received zero emails and zero reminders that I need to pay, suddenly I get a notice at the end of November that I'm one month delinquent on all my miners. This is also not true because 2 of the miners I bought in August, so with my 3 month pre-payment I don't owe a damn thing. All the same I paid for all 3 miners for another 2 months and sent Shauna proof of payment. The payment was NEVER EVER credited properly. I tried to renew this month and they tried to charge me again for month per miner, which is bull. To add insult to injury one of my miners has been offline for 2 weeks and there is ZERO sense of urgency to get it running. Don't ever use these people. They're thieves.

Update to BT Miners. You are a liar!. I owe you absolutely nothing. I never ever received a single solitary notice. I asked Shauna Waselewski multiple times if I owed money, every time I was told no. In addition I checked my account and I never owed money. There was no bill, there was no notice whatsoever. I checked my spam box, so you BT Miners are liars. bought one miner in july and 2 in August. I paid for each miner for two months in retroactively. The only miner that could be owned more than one month back is the original miner. So using addition. The set up for each miner includes on month. August is 1 month per miner bought in august, and 2 retroactively September and October. I'm finished doing business with you people. Monkeys are apparently running your accounting department. I'm finished. I'm not going to pay you people one cent more. Sell the machines. I'm finished working with you people. You're incompetent
