"Positive Solar Experience"

From first contact through to installation, Instyle Solar representatives were personable and professional. The only hickup came after installation when waiting for the Supplier to approve the solar connection. The phone app was a little challenging but tech support helped out.
Evidence of the our new solar's effectiveness showed up in our Dec 19 electricity bill - half the previous bill! Thank you Instyle Solar.

When I decided to install solar, I contacted a number of companies, to get a quote. All the reps that came out to our home, where out to make there commission and where trying to get a sale from us within 10 minutes of talking us. When Tim Henry from Instyle Solar, came out, there was no pressure to buy. He was extremely professional and he produced a booklet, which we worked through and by the end, we had enough information to make a decision. At this stage Tim still didn't ask me if we wanted to buy the system, he wanted to know if there was any further information we required. I just asked Tim to sign me up. The day of the installation, Steve and his team attained our home. They were extremely professional and really funny. They worked all day and installed the system. At the end, Steve took the time to explain everything to me about the system. Since the install, the at Instyle Solar have sent out emails to insure that all was running well. I would not hesitate to recommend Instyle Solar to anyone, the experience was excellent.

"Terrible experience"

Sales representative (Tiah) was prompt, down to earth, honest and not pushy. Portrayed the company as the benchmark of solar providers which is why we chose them. After agreeing to an 8kw system the whole install process was embarrassing.
The installers installed the inverter on the outside of the garage wall and not the inside as I requested. Instead of installing an 8kw inverter, they installed a 5kw inverter, possibly thinking I wouldn't notice. They still have no answer as to why or how this occurred.
The sales rep prided the company on their thorough checks matching solar panel and inverter serial numbers from there warehouse through to delivery and install. She highlighted the importance of the blue handbook that the installer had to complete all the equipment details. On 3 requests for the installers to complete this, it STILL has not been done.
I am now questioning what I have on my roof is actually what I have paid for.
Of all the positive reviews for instyle solar, the only positive thing I can say is in regards to the sales representative. The rest of the process was really embarrassing. I even cc'd in the managing director of the company to the incorrect inverter installation email I sent but have had no reply by anyone.
From initial acceptance of the offer on 5th October, install of correct inverter on 21st November, we are still now without an active system and it appears won't be active by xmas. I am already making repayments on the purchase without it even being active.
Hopefully once active, the performance of the system meets or exceeds what was portrayed.
By far the worst purchase experience I have ever encountered.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
