"Something special"

Something special
Not like anything I've done in terms of experiences, track days etc. in my car. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff that allows to gather or reinforce driving skills that are invaluable either on track or on a spirited road trip. Amd the mix of tracks and surfaces at the Milford proving grounds, not accessible for general public unless through CAT, is really good. I will recommend it to all my friends!

"I don't find myself writing reviews…"

I don't find myself writing reviews that often but I felt I should answer some queries I mite of had when considering tuition.

Firstly, procrastination when considering to book based on the presupposition that your personal skill level is inadequate to even start tuition. Colin, will quickly decipher your skill level and meet you at it. You very quickly start to progress from your prior limit.

Secondly, being my 3rd attendance to CAT - I was pleasantly surprised on how much progression they have made. They are relentlessly and continuously getting better which means better results for you. The day is jam packed, the communication is clear, concise and perfectly comprehensible and they know exactly how to extract the best out of you.
It is self-evident that this is a process that cannot be replicated and is based on many countless hours of experience. It is their extensive experience that makes them outliers.

Very happy to recommend CAT.

"A grand day out in the 993 C2S"

Based on recommendation from Chris Franklin at Centre Gravity I finally made it to down to CAT driver training to hone my driving skills and properly put to the test Centre Gravity's detailed suspension work to find the cars limits in a safe space. My instructor for the day was Paul. Great guy, knowledgeable and confident. We covered braking, cornering, high speed driving, track work, alpine twists, oversteer/understeer control and line of sight highway control. I left with a proper mental workout feeling a much more confident driver, understanding much more the limits of my 993, not at all possible under normal road conditions, with some prep work for track also. The car performed exceptionally, a testament to Centre Gravity's capabilities. Thank you Paul and the team for an inspirational and educational day which should be compulsory for every driver, I shall be back for the next course soon!

"Performance Driving Day"

I booked the Performance Driver Day for my 20 year old son and myself. My main reason was to get him to understand the dangers of driving too fast on the Uk roads and to get expert tuition on handling cars.

We arrived promptly at 9 am to be greeted by Colin. We sat and had a brief on the day ahead, our expectations and what we wanted to achieve which colin took on board. I had taken my own car to use, I am a 51 year old lady, and some would say that I am a slightly nervous driver, I call it cautious driver but, in my new M2 i find myself driving it slower than my 4x4 just incase the back end slides.

I can honestly say in every part of the course my confidence grew realising that by using the correct driving techniques the car would be going exactly where i pointed it. I absolutely loved every part of the day and only wished I could be back on the track today.

I was under no illusion that my son would excel on the day however, he was quick to realise that how he drove on the roads was not the correct technique and he ate up Colin's tuition. As I watched him driving on the track, for the first time I felt relaxed knowing that he was learning to be a safe driver.

We sadly waved goodbye to Colin at the end of the day who had given us 110% tuition all day.
