"Excellent language training system"

Since I first used Yabla 5 years ago, it has improved to true perfection. A broad selection at different difficulty levels of disparate themes including interesting interviews, descriptions of fascinating places, various thrilling series and charming "soap operas", nice songs, grammar exercises and more. Taken together they make it a great joy to learn the language.

The system is well designed for efficient learning with useful tools like flip cards, vocabulary rehearsal possibilities before listening to the video as well as testing your ability to hear what was said. Subtitles both in your language as well as the studied language are well designed and positioned in the new video player.

I warmly recommend Yabla!

Yabla is an excellent vehicle for expanding and/or maintaining your knowledge of a language. Because it uses native speakers of these languages and they speak at a normal rate it is excellent for developing an ear for the language and for learning the correct pronunciation. Well worth the small cost per month!

Signed up for Yabla and paid $54.00 for 6 months, signed off and got a pop up advertising 1 year for $75.00...30 seconds later. Not cool, will quit after my 6 months is up.

"Yabla needs an APP for android"

Yabla needs an APP for android. You cant only have an app for iPhones. I switched from iPhone to android and am very disappointed that there is no app for this.

Yabla is amazing... I've been a subscriber and language learner for many years and there is nothing like Yabla on the internet. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn and at the same time have fun!.. Yabla is a very generous service to learners and offers multiple approaches to keep growing. I look forward to their new videos and lessons weekly. The Yabla app is stellar, allowing me to download their videos and stay in touch with language learning at all times and places... Very Cool!

Yabla is the best language app, so much better than the much-advertised alternatives. The short videos are fun and easy to follow, and the subtitles make it easy to learn new words. There are no obstacles to reaching the level you should be in, which made other apps maddening. You don't have to repeat material that you know; you can continue on whenever you like to new material. The short videos are varied and well-produced. Try Yabla before you decide which language app to use.

"Yabla Chinese"

I have subscribed to Yabla Chinese and it is incredible!!!
It is soooo nice to have the characters, pinyin, and english translation. If there is a word I don’t know, I can tap on it and get the meaning. That also helps in direct translations👏🏽👏🏽 The cost is very affordable as well! I hope to see Cantonese, Japanese, Swahili, and Tagalog added to Yabla in the future!

"Very good but not for me"

Not for me , but I still think it’s very good. As an older learner (70+) I need a gentler approach and a bit more of a structured course. I thought the content was very good and the personalities of the presenters helped a lot. As I said , it didn’t suit my particular needs but I really feel that younger ( well,younger than me) learners will get a real benefit from this course. Very well done Yabla.
