Do NOT purchase a Horsebox policy with Breakdown cover from SEIB if you own a 7.5t Horsebox and live in or near Suffolk as it is pretty useless and you will end up having the awful experiences I have had! The company they use is called "Call Assist" and they are quite frankly useless. They send out, after repeated promises and lack of communication, a Roadside Assistance person who had no HGV knowledge and had told him my 7.5t vehicle was a Van and then when I requested them to send out a suitable operative they said they could not find anyone to attend the vehicle and could only offer recovery 3 days after the vehicle was reported as requiring assistance!! SEIB do not seem at all interested in helping me. So the moral of this story is get a horsebox recovery policy separately from a reputable operator and DO NOT PURCHASE THE COVER THROUGH SEIB!!
