This is a well made mailbox. Our third one in 15 years but no fault of the way it is made. It is positioned next to the street so sometimes the snowplows break it during big storms.
Purchased a similar looking one for half the price from Walmart recently as it looked the same but it was almost half the weight and poorly made. So I returned it and re-purchased the same one I had before from MailboxWorks. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
