"Is it legal to charge ‘sale return fee’?"
Nice product but I ordered the wrong size so had to return. Strangely, i was charged a ‘sale return fee‘ of £6 - total rip off and very curious to know if this contravenes current UK online trading legislation
Specifically, Consumer Contracts Regs 34 - So still curious to know how you justify the £6 ‘sale return fee’.
Update: still no actual response to the cited regulations. Plus, i still have no idea why returned sale items cost more to process than non-sale items - can this be explained?

The item in real life did NOT match what is shown on website Colourwise.
Pooky wanted to fleece me £15 to have it collected. Even though. Not as described. But I explained. Live rural. No car at present. Off the road!
They still couldn’t do any more than ........ wait for it....... extend the window for return.

I will of course expect the standard snotty response that Pooky seem to dish out.
But really. Don’t bother.
Because as I told you in our emails this morning.
We’re done.
You have lost my custom.
And. FYI. I have on at least 3 occasions over the past 4/5 yrs popped into store in chelsea.
And yup. I too experienced the same low levels of customer service / interaction / interest from the showroom staff.
They literally couldn’t be any less interested.
Must be a pre requisite to be arrogant to gain employment ?!
So. In short people.
Purchase at your peril.
You may luck out. And be happy.
But there’s a strong possibility you’ll get treated like a brain dead moron that’s just walked Into the showroom and asked for a Kidney.
AVOID would be my advice.

Lamp £175 doesn’t even have a base so you can see the surface it’s sitting on through the glass vase. And as usual trying to get the shade straight is impossible. Last time. Lesson learnt.
Wisteria standard in nickel.
And getting the polystyrene bits out of the lamp base a nightmare.

"Terrible customer Service"
Awful - 3 orders, 3 things wrong. Chipped shades, faulty light fittings only discovered after I've paid an electrican who now cannot fit it. And lastly photos of a product that looks totally different when I recieved it. Turns out the photos on their website were of a prototype that they never made, but are using to sell a similar product. Misleading. Each time just told to labourously return and email endlessly with details of the faults - no gesture of goodwill.

Fantastic array of very high quality lamps and lampshades, with speedy delivery and free returns - and a very friendly team at the end of the phone. If they don't have what you are looking for you are probably looking for the wrong thing! A really wonderful one-stop shop for chic lighting.

"Mirror"
Ordered a small mirror (Charles mirror) the frame of which was a bright gold colour on the website. When it arrived the frame was actually a pale and distressed gold. Very disappointing. There was no mention on the website that the frame in reality is quite different from the pictures. Other than that, it is a useful size mirror for my requirements.

Very disappointed I had no idea and dont think website makes it clear that you need a pendant shade for swan neck fitting. I purchased a new shade for my new wallpaper to fit it doesnt fit. In future I'll buy from local lighting shop.

"Beautiful products & great customer service"
We bought out first Pooky lamp recently. It’s a beautiful chandelier with excellent build quality. Sadly we broke a few of the glass rods while assembling it. Pooky immediately offered to send out some replacements without any quibble. My experience of their customer service so far is excellent (I’ve had a few other exchanges to get from advise on other light fittings). Highly recommended!

"Nice lamps, good customer service"
Lovely-looking lamp which arrived promptly. Customer services very helpful when it came to assembling the lamp, replying quickly even at the weekend. There was an odour of petrol and a slight oily residue on the lamp base, and Pooky swiftly refunded some of the price in view of this.
