I had given up hope of replacing the remote control for my Loewe sound bar as they are ridiculously expensive. And then I found Remote Control World. I was worried about it as there are so many shonky overseas companies and I thought I might lose my money. But all my dealings with them were great, they were friendly, professional and helpful.
It was a bit difficult to work out the details of my soundbar but we all persisted and a few weeks later I was delighted when a new and perfectly working remote arrived. Yay!
Thank you Remote Control World. I highly recommend them and am just about to place an order for a new remote for my TV now, as it's broken too!

"Easy to order... the wrong product"

I needed the Philips TV remote with the Qwerty keyboard on the back to replace my old one which had come with the TV. I googled the TV model number, I went through the website link for the TV remote - there it was the only photo of the product showing the front and the back of the remote and it was perfect, it says on the right-hand side of the page that it's "Genuine" and that it offers "100% of the functionality" of the genuine remote.

Wonderful? Wrong.
Apparently, I'm the idiot according to support for trusting the top of the page and the information that I had read and I should have gone through to read the full product description because in that they nest the following:

"The remote control DOES NOT HAVE A KEYBOARD AT THE BACK, does not have a VOICE function, and the MENU button is missing."

Support argues that this is not misleading because if you look around the page for long enough you'll find the real description of the product.

This is an entirely untrustworthy company, I'm not going through the hassle of sending the remote from the UK to the Czech Republic as a return and frankly they didn't even give me the option. £27 down the drain but could have been worse and I could have spent more.

I'll respect the fact they wrote it in the description but the use of the wrong images in my opinion is false advertising of the product you're going to receive.

Anyway, wouldn't use them again - they're great if you want to spend your afternoon vetting the products you're looking at to make sure they're actually the right ones.

I liked the sincerity of the company and its people, I had online ordered a new remote for my Boss system in India, when it did not work they asked me to make few changes and the settings but still no luck, so they asked me to ship it back with the original which I did and they shipped me back a proper working remote control because of which I am able to enjoy my Boss sound system. The only suggestion for improvement would be better timeline but overall I am very happy and satisfied with their service and most important fact is I can trust them. So Thank you for your great service.

Totally recommend.
I have ordered a new remote for my hi-fi system to VAT Remote. The model was different from the original one but was supposed to cover all functionalities.
At reception it was working well except some functionalities (sources selection). I contacted the Helpdesk via the instant messaging and they answered me very quickly. They took the time to look for the cause, found it and fixed it. Great service, the remote now replaces perfectly the original one now. :)
