had just a little problem with communications. That was my fault. didn't know just what to expect working halfway around the world. VAT did keep me aware of the repair of my remote controller. It was not working when I sent it off and it was working just fine when I got it back. VAT was the only place that offered a repair service. Thanks for the repair.. Saved lot of money.

After I ordered a copy of my original Marantz SR6003 remote, it took more than the promised amount of days to arrive. Therefore I contacted them via chat. They said that it took a few days longer than expected because production was overloaded.
So this company was not just a box mover but it produces the remotes on demand. Maybe they could say this on the website and give a better estimate with the reason for it. This of course would only be useful for first time customers since once you know them and you know how they work, no problem to wait a few extra days since you know you didn’t waste your money. Then the remote arrived. I tried it and everything works except for the ‘Exit’ button. I contacted them via Email. They responded immediately but unfortunately my internet provider (Telenet) put the mails in my SPAM folder and I noticed this only a few days after so if this happens to you, first check the SPAM box. First they asked me to do a standard test pushing the button and look with my cell phone to see if there is coming light out of the remote. Yes it did. Since I mentioned the micro USB connector in the remote control in my mail they asked if I had such a cable in house. Yes I have. Then they provided me with a link to install software to re-program the remote. Unfortunately this didn’t work. Then they send me a new remote without me having to ask for it and this is working perfectly. You only know if a company is good when not everything goes as expected. In the end they didn’t make any money at all on me but they did everything to make a happy customer and that is what I am. If I ever need a remote again, I know where to order it!
