"TERRIBLE COMPANY 4.1 STARS NO WAY"

Do not waste your time, because these guys are totally useless, zero people skills, no communiction whatsoever, the 5 Star reviews are obviously not genuine. Big dissapointment. Thank god i found a new estate agent who sold my property within 3 weeks.

We had a very pleasant experience at Thorney Groves especially services provided by Emma Slabbert. She is very understanding, helpful, gave excellent advise and service. Emma and team is responsive, because of her services we trust this agency and the team. Definitely recommended!

The 4 stars are based soley on my dealings with Emma Slabbert, Thornley Groves as a company would graciously recieve a 1 star, as trustpilot does not allow for a zero star review.

I have been a tenant via Thornley Groves for the past 8 years. Generally, I would not recommend as they are a completely unorganised, incompetent, dumpster fire of a company. However, Emma has been a fantastic contact over the last year or so that she has been my property manager.

I have found her to be polite, knowledgable, quick to respond, helpful and diligent. Qualities that only one or two of the colleagues over the years have share.

I have been a tenant of a property managed by Thornley Groves for 2 years. I think they are easy to reach out and have been responded quickly to my queries. I would like to say thank you to Emma Slabbert, who based at the Altrincham. She have been assisting me on my tenancy renewal and the end of tenancy process. For some reason, I have to terminate my tenancy contact earlier, Emma have been very helpful, responded to my queries quickly and provided all the information I need to know.

Worst estate agents in Manchester. Made me pay cleaning fees after I’ve already paid an end of tenancy cleaning service and provided the invoice.
My front door was broken for 3 months and there was no urgency to fix it. Countless emails and zero communication even after my partner went into the office to speak with them.
Would avoid at all costs and use another agency if possible.

I am not hesitant to state that Thornley Groves is the worst letting agents in Manchester. Their ability to avoid every single communication should be considered for a world record at this point...."World Record For Company To Ignore The Most Correspondence".

Here I will outline specifically why they are such an unbearable estate agents and should be avoided at all costs:

- Leak in Bathroom ceiling dangerously coming through light fixture took far too long to repair and we were offered £100 as compensation (which is laughable)
- Toilet cistern broken for a considerable part of our tenancy and guess what? No further communications
- Fridge was broken for 2 weeks upon starting our tenancy during a hot summer, no consideration or (you guessed it) communications for the costs we had to bare having no way of storing food
- Potentially harmful leak in living room was ignored for days
- Boiler issue causing heating problem raising electric bill IGNORED

And finally, more than 3 weeks after handing our keys back we have made several attempts to contact our letting agent Saga Moayeri who has made no attempt to respond to us and has left us completely in the dark about our deposit.

I have taken it to TDS to sort out.

I would not recommend this agent to my worst enemy

I had a viewing with Kelly McDermott who was very friendly and helpful. Kelly provided lots of good information on the property and local area and made sure to answer all of my questions - being a first time buyer I had a lot and Kelly offered some great advice on the buying process which was really appreciated.
