"I had an awful experience with Spares…"

I had an awful experience with Spares Direct. I purchased a product, but it turned out that the product information on their website was incorrect. When I contacted them, they asked if I wanted a refund, which I confirmed. However, I have still not received my refund to this day.（over 2 month）

I’ve had to spend so much time and effort trying to resolve this issue, and now I’m having to involve my bank and even seek legal assistance. This entire situation has been a nightmare, and I truly hope no one else has to go through what I’ve experienced.

The part was good, as described a perfect replacement. Ordering was easy, postage was expensive at £10 for such a small part, however the service was 48hours so I went ahead as I needed the part to get the boiler going. I feel let down as the part did not arrive for over a week. This made the delivery service ridiculous as it would have arrived quicker by Royal Mail at a fraction of the delivery charged. I would order more parts if delivery was better.
