Wineonline still untrustworthy. Will's standard playbook is to apologise profusely but then do nothing to resolve the 'mistake', assuming it's a mistake - in my case, sending two cheap bottles of wine to a family member as an anniversary gift instead of the expensive bottles I had ordered. Where they send a gift on your behalf you have no way of checking that they sent the wine you paid for, so in many cases customers will think that they got good service when in fact the recipients of the wine are surprised that they sent such cheap wine as gifts.

"Awful"
Awful, ordered a bottle of Amarone in a gift box on the 23rd of December it didn’t arrive until 7th of January, given the climate I understand the delay even if they posted on Facebook on the 23rd for last minute Christmas gifts. The bottle that arrived was a €16 bottle of wine. I have called the mailbox is full, I have emailed an no reply. No refund as of yet or confirmation they will send out the correct bottle. The person who received the gift hasn’t even opened the wine since we don’t know what wineonline are going to do, swap the bottles or give a refund. But this is definitely the first and last time I’m ordering from this place.
Update: hello Will, your private email response is a far cry from the below reply, where you profusely apologise for the human error caused, and you state you see the mistake where in fact you did send a cheap €16 red versus the Amarone I ordered. Yes this was all on your website, so no I didn’t see it anywhere else. I never once said your team didn’t deserve a break on Christmas, what I have stated is how this has been handled in the aftermath, and posting two completely different replies one publicly and one privately just shows the type of service I have received. Do you not recall from your email that you will personally deliver the correct wine this coming Friday to ensure there would be no further issues? I am more than happy to share a copy of your email here on trust pilot. I would highly recommend updating your response to simply explain it was a mix up on your part and that you are currently trying to rectify it, rather than trying to put this on me. Yes I stand corrected on the post on the 23rd as it was for last minute Christmas gift cards. Honestly seeing this after our email communication, you are really showing the service I have received has been quite deceiving. Even in your email you have said you are in the business for over 20 years and the top wine delivery in Ireland and that is not from treating customers badly, which after reading your reply clearly I’m not one of those customers. Just disappointing.

"Order never arrived for Christmas, no refund given and company not replying to emails"
I ordered 12 bottles of wine well in advance Christmas, they never arrived. I followed up, company said it was delivered to the neighbours.
I have emailed them several times for a full refund which I still have not received nor indeed are they even replying to my emails. The order was to the value of €210.

"Cocktail box"
I bought a cocktail box and it was definitely worth the price. The quality of the cocktails was great, tasted exactly like what you would get in a bar! The box included two martini glasses which I though was a nice touch. Presentation and taste was great.

Agreed delivery date missed so my order was not here for the occasion it was required for.
Not acceptable given this is the minimum you’d expect from an online retailer.

Ordered for my sister's birthday.Ordered over 150 euros.They sent the order without a product that cost 40 euro,never informed me,the sender or my sister.When I queried them the just made up some nonsense about we were far too busy to realise we forgot half your order but we sent it anyways without informing you.Took at least 2 weeks for a refund.Serious bunch of chancers.Do not order off them

Paid the money 21st Dec for wine delivery. Still not received . It’s passing between fastway and wine online, and no sign of the delivery three weeks later. I have had to chase this for two weeks on a daily basis and have had little satisfaction. I have requested a refund and am still waiting for a reply. I looked at the reviews before using this service, but I would not have to say after my experience, I would not recommend online wine sadly to anyone . This is my first time posting a bad review On anything!

Not a great service at all they dont value their customers. Email them with querie about my order and received an automated email back saying they dont have time to respond to me. Most definitely will not be returning

I had ordered from wineonline with 4 previous orders in October, November which all were great and delivery was within 4 days. Unfortunately, I ordered on the 1st of December for a Christmas present to be delivered to a frontline Doctor asap and we still haven't received the delivery,on tracking history, the order has been misplaced and will be delivered,
next working day!! They cannot cope with the surge of online orders, so no I will go elsewhere in the future!!

Great service as always, Wine arrived amazingly quick and was exactly what we wanted.
Will recommended some great wines, felt they punched above their weight price-wise.
My new go-to.
