What a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean throughout and so well equipped. Everything you could possibly need and plenty of nice little touches. Sian, the owner called in the day we arrived as she didn't have my mobile and needed to check if everything was ok. One thing we particularly liked was the summerhouse and deck, lovely to sit and watch the tide come and go. Thank you to everyone for helping to make a much needed break so enjoyable

I had no problem to start with but when I reached filling in the details for filling in the particulars for the Bank details etc I was very confused and kept getting it wrong I was very confused by it all I managed to finish about 20 mins all together. I think I will use the telephone order line next time I always used it in the past so I think it is a case of stick to what you know.

"Quality Cottages still have NOT done the Honourable action of refunding us"

Raised a review complaint reference Wenalt cottage listed by Quality Cottages late last year, updated on the 13th Jan. It was titled "Dirty Dusty Filthy Unhealthy Cottage", please review.
This company has not implemented the honourable action of refunding us for this holiday. My partner contracted a very bad eye infection directly caused by the dreadful conditions we allowed by QC to be exposed to. They do not still get it , even though they supplied an alternative cottage, this eye infection forced us to return home after a couple of days into. They believe they did enough, but still fail to comprehend the serious H&S issues existing in that cottage. QC were fully aware of these awful conditions at least 3 months prior to our visit in Oct21. Please read our review posted on 13th Jan. Like all complaints its how they are dealt with, no problems is owners have high cleanliness records, but QC cottages failed to investigate conditions in Wenalt when worrying flags were raised earlier in 2021. Its interesting the Wenalt cottage was taken off their listings shortly after we initially complained. Quality Cottages TAKE the honourable action and refund us.

A very good experience with Quality Cottages as a first time user. The cottage was clean, everything was well organised and the manager was very accommodating about letting us access the property before the official entry time.

The cottage could have done with a few more home basics, such as toilet roll and hand wash, and there were some issues with hot water in the showers. But a very good stay overall and I would use the company again.

"Lovely barn conversion but issues with heating"

Lovely barn conversion in an great location ( The Old CowShed). It is a very well equipped property and was spotlessly clean however it has a complicated ground source heating system that is not easy to use or fix when something goes wrong. The boiler was faulty and we had inadequate heating ( 12c in bedrooms) and hot water ( 2 showers max/day) throughout our stay, not ideal in February with 3 children. Quality cottages did get a local plumber out in 24hrs but this didn't solve the problem. The plumber told us there was a part on order thus it is unclear if the property was let with a known fault. Its such a shame, being honest we would stay again assuming the boiler is working.

Have just booked another holiday with Quality Cottages. I have stayed in their Cottages previously and they are excellent. What you see advertised is what you get. I highly recommend them for their high standards, choice and excellent quality. For beautiful holidays in Wales, look no further!

First time user of Quality Cottages and experienced user of other similar sites. Found web site very friendly and easy to search for Wales based accommodation. Did not require creation of account before commitment of booking (this is done later) to ensure we get the cottage sought. Experience was flawless, will use again.
