Intasound is a good shop to buy guitars and related goodies from as they have friendly patient staff always willing to answer any questions and make you a brew!. In the past I have purchased things I haven't been totally happy with and they always strive to resolve any issues with returns or tweaks to repairs, which leads me to believe they genuinely value there customers and are not out to make quick money or rip people off . The shop has a friendly atmosphere and I would recommend to any local musicians.

I had the great pleasure of working with the owner, Malcolm, years before this store opened .I knew that from the moment he opened Intasound all those years ago , it would be a cut above the rest.Since then many stores have come and gone in our county, and many have been unable to provide a comprehensive service for gigging musicians and venues who need gear.Not so with this one!!!!He, together with his staff,notably his two sons, Alex and Lloyd, have always been able to come up with any needs , and all done with a smile, fast and friendly service,and a coffee if you want one!!!
Great gear, no matter what you need, and fantastic deals on so many products.If you want an example of how far they will go to assist if a problem arises, check this out! I own a vintage Roland sequencer which unfortunately got dropped and broke the main circuit board.How many stores do you know of that would bother to contact Roland in Japan and get the last board on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Excellent repairs by Romeo their engineer is a great part of their service.As a professional musician, I work in many different musical environments.All my stage gear is from them, and all the gear at my church was supplied by them.Just recently, I have been working for the Baptist chapel in Whitwick,and when they asked me to find a digital piano to replace the awful acoustic instrument they were stuck with,there was only one phone call I needed to make.twenty minutes later and two cups of coffee and I got a fantastic sounding and good looking piano, later delivered personally by Alex and Lloyd.All my pupils have had their instruments from their too.........why go anywhere else?If you want to go on E bay or Amazon and take the risk OK but just remember you won't get the personal service and more importantly after care if you need it.........

The guys at Instasound deliver an absolutely top notch service.
I went in a couple of years back on the hunt for a compact full Pa system. They talked me through all the options, were very happy for me to test anything I wanted and guided me in my purchase. They were genuinely keen to match me with equipment that suited exactly what I needed, there was no pressure and they actually guided me towards less expensive kit that they thought was more appropriate to my needs.

18 months later when I returned to expand my kit, they instantly recalled what I'd purchased before with no prompting. Their attention to their customers is just astounding.

I would recommend to anyone - knowledgable, friendly staff with a real commitment to service and an extensive range of equipment. Totally first class.

What I can't stand about music shops (or any shops come to that) is 'Hi - can I help?' as soon as you walk through the door. The guys at Intasound give you a smile - say hi and leave it at that. They know you'll find them if you want help. And the nice thing about Intasound is that not only are the staff very helpful, but they are very knowledgeable about everything they've got in the shop, whether it be PA, drums, keys, guitars etc. You never have that feeling that 'you're not good enough' or that you're being a pain in the ass.

I'd like to see them carry more drum stuff (being a drummer) but I recognise that this takes up lots of space! Parking isn't the easiest - especially at busy times.

Apart from that - the shop and its staff are excellent.

I reached my 40th birthday in June this year and along with it, came my mid-life crisis! That is, to set myself up as a mobile DJ and do gigs as a side-line to my main job. I didn't have a clue about equipment, costs or anything and spent a long time online and visiting a few shops. As soon as I'd visited Intasound though, I knew that I didn't need to go anywhere else. Everyone at Intasound was friendly and helpful but I dealt almost solely with Alex who really went above and beyond in terms of customer service. Nothing was too much trouble, extremely patient with my lack of knowledge and he did me a great package deal as well. Cannot recommend him and this place enough. Looking forward to my first gig whilst knowing all the time and I can go back to Intasound for help, advice (and extra equipment) whenever I need!

I was looking for a Crafter GAE 15N. It had been difficult to get a guitar shop to get in one of these. Intasound got in a left hand version for me to try, I played it, loved it and bought it at a very good price. Guys there are knowledgeable and friendly. Can't complain really.
