But given the delay from order date to despatching, my suspicion {unproven} is that stock is not held locally but ordered on demand from another location.

Needed this item quickly but there was no option to pay extra for next day delivery which I would have preferred, but this was maybe because the item wasn't in stock?

There were no links provided with shipping references like you get with some companies so we did not really know when it would arrive. Order was delivered by Royal Mail parcels.

The website said 2-4 working days for delivery but it arrived after 2 so was quite happy with that in the end, but it would have been good to have had tracking information in order to know where the item was and expected delivery date.
