Absolutely first class service from start to after the end of my volunteering with a friendly and very professional team.This was my first experience as a volunteer.Oyster made the whole programme so simple with step by step guidance notes as to how to plan the travel arrangements, inoculations and other health requirements,what to pack and what to expect.Their information packages are second to none,so informative and the team answered any queries promptly.The team at Oyster,in my opinion, rock and I recommend anyone to use them.

I did the pre-vet experience in Soith Africa. Unfortunately the veterinarian was only on site once or twice a weekand and there were too many of us to gain any useful experience. It is also cheaper to book your trip directly through Kwantu.

Oyster provided lots of information and always got back very quickly with any questions I had. By the time I left for my trip, there wasn't anything I felt unsure about and that was down to oyster. When I looked into booking a volunteer trip with Oyster Worlwide, I was initially hesitant as it was something new to me, however Anne and Jon were very welcoming, and answered all my questions of which there were many! They even touched based as I departed for my trip as well as kept in touch while I was away (Romania, Bear Sanctuary). There was follow up after the trip as well. While in Romania everything was well organized to make one feel comfortable being away from home or travelling alone. The project Leader was also available by phone/email or in person to help out with anything needed. I am not a "gap year " traveller but this company still looked after me and my best interests and I have recommended them to many friends, including those with kids that may be looking for a gap year experience.
