"Seems to be in a CMS from the early 2000s"
The service is not bad, except that it seems to be in a CMS from the early 2000s.
Support is fast, but it often happens that they don't understand my requests and bots respond.
Lots of features mixed in and that often don't make much sense and template editor that doesn't allow you to create aesthetically beautiful video platforms.

"The Best VOD Platform!"
The software is easy to use, providing best admin-user experience. The customer support is also very proactive in addressing concerns raised to them. Muvi offers a great product to those looking for a VOD platform!

"The best streaming/non-streaming solution provider"
Muvi has been a great company in terms of valuing its employees and also in innovating easy and classic solutions for its customers. With customer feedback driven approach Muvi has added a lot of Products to its portfolio and still growing. If you want no code streaming/non-streaming solution, Muvi should be under your radar which is cheap, feature-rich, best in class support and engineers.

"MUVI is an excellent streaming service…"
MUVI is an excellent streaming service that for the past two years has been helping me develop streeen.org, my independent cinema distribution project, with a very high cost/quality ratio

"Lots of useful features with a reasonable pricing"
It supports almost all the necessary and useful features that one can think of before launching an OTT website and/or Mobile and TV apps. The ability to design my website, add multiple languages and payment gateways are something that I like the most. In case I need something extra, I can request for the same and that gets added. The well written help articles and access to support team over chat/tickets makes it easy to resolve queries quickly.

"Great features and flexible pricing"
We wanted a solution for our clients to monetize their video/live content. We tried Brightcove, Vimeo, Dacast, etc. but nothing really solved our need. Muvi has a feature-rich platform that includes everything you could think of. We tried the free trial and it was super cool to use Muvi. We had a really positive experience using Muvi for around a year.
Some of the pros and cons according to our experience:
Pros:
1. Have 10x more features compared to alternatives.
2. Flexible and affordable pricing
3. No technical experience is required. User-friendly design.
4. Customer support is very helpful. They even provide customization to the platform.
5. Supports almost all platforms (tv, mobile, website, etc.)
Cons:
1. Paid customizations will take more time than expected.

"Super Easy-to-use, Feature rich with a great support team"
Pros: As a consultant I had recommended (and operated) Muvi for one of my clients in the e-learning space. If you don’t have a lot of technical expertise then Muvi is the platform for you. It was super easy to set up the platform, upload videos and launch an online video streaming store. Days later, with Muvi’s help we also went live with customized apps on iOS and Android. The platform has a lot of features and is simple to use, but what really won the day for me was the support. There were some customizations we wanted to bring into the platform and Muvi’s support was prompt to help us with the same. My overall experience with Muvi has been a nice one, its value for money and lets you have full control over how you want to run your streaming website or app.
Cons: I think Muvi could do well by offering a lot more templates for the online website design. Give users more ways to set up the final design of the streaming website. Also, our set up took slightly longer on account of a few technical glitches but those were quickly resolved.

"Trust me, do not use this platform."
If you are an American company do not use this platform. The communication/language barrier is a huge issue on top of them having potentially the most poorly build product I have ever seen or worked with. It is almost unusable and definitely unusable for a company with a large customer base.
In our situation, we were trying to migrate from another platform to Muvi (they were the only ones offering a tiered content option at the time) and to say it was a difficult process would be an understatement.
We could not communicate anything technical and this resulted in major miscommunications. They sent our launch emails and access to our platform to the wrong list of over 1,000 users, absolutely horrific scenario.
Nobody read the emails I sent, when there were 4+ Muvi employees on every email chain. It generally took well over 48 hours at least, sometimes over a week to hear back regarding urgent matters because they also work on India time.
The platform as a whole is really, really poorly build and you will experience that first hand when you start to build off their templates and it looks like someone's first css project. The front end looks like the templates were thrown together on html/css in a good 15min. You will also likely not be able to make easy modifications to their html/css files. You are required to put in support tickets regarding any issues and they often take days to resolve, often issues related to the poorly written code, nothing you can fix.
What takes the cake is that we did not go through with the migration after one too many major communication errors and other issues. They will not give us our $4,000 back that we paid for the migration. Most other platforms offer free migrations. Can't get anyone to write me back, nothing.
I hope this saves something the time, effort, energy and funds that we lost while trying to work with them and I hope they do better by their customers.
