I contacted Smeg about a part I needed to replace on my freezer. The person I spoke to was very helpful and I placed an order for the part even though it was a little bit expensive. A few days later I got an email stating the part had to be backorder from Italy. It only took 10 days for the part to arrive and it was extremely well packed.

needed a new main oven door seal for SMEG cooker (under Cooke and Lewis branding). Emailed them to confirm the correct part reference and availability. They responded very quickly and once I submitted the order, it was dispatched the following day. Part arrived and was easy to fit (only needed minor adjustments to a couple of the metal hooks which had been bent). No hot air escaping when the oven door is shut. fast, friendly and helpful service and very much appreciated.

Called in desperation on 23rd December seal had gone on my Smeg oven and in urgent need of a replacement. Xmas dinner was in serious peril. Chap who helped me on the phone went out of his way to get it dispatched and with me on Xmas Eve. Dead easy to fit. Xmas saved. Thankyou so much

Ordered spare parts late on Thursday evening, they were dispatched to delivery company on Friday. Can't say better than that!

They responded very quickly to my order request, although it had to be back-ordered from the manufacturer in Italy. They said it would take a couple of weeks and it did, but it was not that urgent for me. The item, which was fragile, arrived very well packaged.
I am very happy with their service help and efficiency.

I didn’t use this company in the end as it proved more economical to replace the appliance than buy a new part. However this company were exceptional in their advice , customer contact and response speed. Outstanding and they deserve all their 5 star reviews.

"My 2021 smeg gas hob ignition started…"
My 2021 smeg gas hob ignition started constantly ticking, called out a number of appliance engineers who charge for coming each time and they all said bin it and get a new one. I didn't want to bin and add to landfill so I called smeg for advice and they suggested a replacement ignition block which I ordered and paid for. The part was replaced by an appliance engineer but the problem was not resolved. I called smeg and they don't take returns of parts when the packaging has been opened unless there is a written report by an approved engineer to say the part is faulty.
I am now out of pocket by almost £500 and feel stupid in that I should have just bought a new hob as opposed to caring for the environment and opting for repairs.
I will never buy smeg again, these companies are operating with ancient principles and are not customer friendly.
I will post this review on social media to warn others.

I incorrectly ordered some replacement parts for our SMEG. When I realised, the team were helpful in getting them returned and refunded. Furthermore, they helped me to identify the correct parts which I’m looking forward to receiving shortly. Great customer service.
