"First clean with Nathan"

Had our first clean on Thursday with Nathan. We've struggled to get the estate window cleaner to actually clean our house so felt like a no brainer to sign up to Patchapp. After reading these reviews after we'd initially signed up I was very apprehensive but Nathan showed up and spent a really good amount of time cleaning all our windows and sills etc. I cannot fault anything that he did, we got everything we were promised. I'm hoping he does come back again as I hope I won't need to update this review.

Patch have been a god-send to us. They are so professional as a company. This was our first ‘clean’ undertaken by Nathan and it was fantastic. After years of an unreliable cleaner (who wouldn’t clean sills/window surrounds) Nathan has done a *wonderful* job and very efficiently. And this may seem a stupid thing to say but, as a woman, I feel safe they are so professional. *Thank you*, Patch - we’re *so* glad you found us!

Not happy at all. Had nothing but bad luck with them from the start. Charged and hadn't cleaned. Got my money back.you replied to this review saying I gave a review saying I gave feedback saying you came and I gave a reply that you cleaned the windows. I DO NOT THINK SO THAT WOULD OF BEEN THE FIRST EVER TIME YOU CLEANED THE WINDOWS SINCE THEN IV HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. YOU HAVE JUST BEEN A FEW DAYS AGO LATE AS ALWAYS. LAST MONTH YOU TUCK THE MONEY AND NEVER SHOWN UP. I HAD TO EMAIL YOU. ANYWAY NOW IV CANCELLED YOU BEST THING I HAVE DONE SINCE I STARTED THE CONTRACT WITH YOU. BYE. "AVOID"

Felt pressured to sign up by the canvasser at my door after 5:30pm on a cold, wet & dark January evening. Explained that I was in the middle of dinner with my daughter & was told it wouldn’t take a minute to put the app on my phone & take the payment (!)
£18.45 for a small 3 bed semi apparently was a good deal. Truth be told, I only signed up to get rid of the salesman at my door who didn’t care that my tea was getting cold & my daughter was left alone while the heat was escaping out of my front door. Was told that the clean would take place the next day so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and was reassured if I wasn’t happy, I could always cancel.
Lo & behold, nobody turned up to do the very first window clean today. No communication attempt was made offering an explanation for the no show and there was no evidence on cameras of anyone coming anywhere near the property all day plus my husband was also home all day too. I hadn’t paused or cancelled the clean in the app & the payment of £18.45 plus an additional £1.00 had been taken.
Had to scour the internet to find how to contact Patch (one mobile phone number) and a hello@ email address & when I tried contacting them via both these channels and leaving countless messages to no response, I then finally had to accept that I had been scammed and I would not be getting my windows cleaned any time soon. Very poor indeed. Such a shame as the whole veteran ethos is a great idea. Have blocked all payments to them and I requested that my bank issue a chargeback which they did in just 5 minutes. I have now deleted the Patch app also. Please don’t waste your time with this company and if you have already paid and haven’t received the service you paid for, make sure to contact your bank and raise a dispute for a chargeback and block all subscriptions to this shocking company. Please don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews all suspiciously added on to here in the same date of 19th January…… not suspicious at all!!! Quite clearly falsified reviews! Shocking!
