I bought it as a belated treat for myself for my 60th & had I known how good the quality was I would have bought the 4 pack to begin with. But then again. I need a walking stick, mainly to keep my balance when walking, rather than taking the load. Also, I can't stand still for long and particularly when shopping I need a seat and few shops have chairs. This product fits the bill, helping me when walking and then providing a seat. There are products on the market a lot cheaper than this one, but they look ungainly as a walking stick as they don't fold up so elegantly, usually leaving the seat unfolded and the three legs sticking out so they are not so easy to use as a walking stick. In this product, the seat folds up and the three legs come together to form a single leg.
