"Probably my worst consumer experience ever."
I placed an order at the end of June for Single Speed Level 2, my confirmation email let me know that Mango would follow up in a few days to give an estimated ship date. Nothing came.
I waited two weeks before chasing up, first via their chatbot, then Instagram DM, then I left a voicemail. None of these were responded to.
At this point I decided to check Trustpilot, something I should've done before making my purchase, if I had done this I would've saved myself a lot of time and energy (and potentially money).
If you're reading these reviews, a common theme you can pluck from them is that this company doesn't know what communication or customer service means.
I did eventually get a response from Mango after I emailed them, the colour wheelset I had requested (black) wasn't available and I was offered a discount on a 3rd party upgrade. I agreed but then communication dropped off again, until I followed up almost a week later requesting to cancel.
Apparently they were waiting for my replacement wheels to arrive before requesting payment, but how was I to know this after they didn't reply to my email.
I requested a refund but this was not forthcoming so I've had to dispute the order with my bank.
A few days ago I received an email from an Insolvency Practitioner about the liquidation of Norfee Bikes T/A Mango Bikes. So it seems that the show is probably over for Mango and I might not get back the £600 I paid for the bike I never received.
There are lessons Mango could learn, but it doesn't look like they'll be in a position to apply them anyway. I've learnt to read the consumer reviews before making a purchase and to use my credit card next time, as Section 75 is a bit more forgiving.

Terrible communication. I tried to cancel my order MULTIPLE times but received only a handful of responses. All of which assured me it would be cancelled however they have now gone ahead and shipped the bike that I did not want. I am now being charged for this.
Do not order a Mango bike.

"No communication if there is a problem"
Unfortunately my experience of this company is as poor as it can be and it is disappointing to see that there are many other customers who have had the same unhappy experience as I have. In short, I ordered a saddle which arrived reasonably promptly but I had to return it as it didn't match my bike and, having read the returns policy, returned the saddle to Mango at my own expense. The saddle was delivered to them about a week later in mid-July 2023. This was after initiating a return on their website which did not generate a return label or even allow me to select a refund as an option (which is allowed according to their returns policy). I tried many ways, repeatedly, to contact them - via email, phoning and leaving messages, and using their chat tool - none of which have initiated a response from them. From reading others' reviews, I can see that my experience is mirrored in the experiences of other buyers. They seem to operate on the basis that if they ignore you for long enough, you will go away (never to return in my case). Buy from them if you like, but if there is a problem, you won't be getting your money back. I am disgusted by their dishonesty and lack of ethics.

I ordered my bike 5 weeks ago in july....
according to their website shipping will take place between 3 to 5 days after ordering that is basically a lie since I have'nt even got an update on my order a week later, here I am trying to get somebody to answer my mails looking dumb.. how hard is it to let a customer know whats up with their 700$ purchase? stating such big lies on their website and adding poor to non existent communication makes me think about taking legal actions since other reviews report a similar experience

Remarkably similar experience to those below - great website, great choice and all looks very classy, but when you try to cancel the order....
No responses to webform or email, no answer on phone - webchat you do get a response, but so far I have had that 'refund will be in next 48 hours', 'refund will be in the next 24 hours' and 'refund will be this week'. You have to wonder if the company have bitten off more than they can chew - but hanging on to peoples cash is out of order.
UPDATE 3rd August: Norfee bikes which is associated with Mango Bikes, and registered at same address with Companies House has a compulsory strike off notice on Companies House website dated 1st August - to be struck off and dissolved in 2 months time. Siggghhhhh...hence the delaying and ghosting

Shoddy company. Avoid at all costs. 4 weeks no bike. To be informed they dont have the wheels i wanted and tried to offer me subpar products. Customer service is horrific

"Scammers - no bike received almost 3 months later"
Ordered a bike on 27th May. It’s now 3rd July and still no bike.
Basically missed the entire summer and the purpose of buying the bike.
Update. I finally got through to them on Tuesday 12th July and spoke to a guy who appeared to be very helpful and agreed it had been a while. He said he would speak to his colleagues in the morning and ring me back. Over a week later I have heard nothing.
Today, 19th July, almost two months after the purchase, I have filed a paypal case for a refund so I can buy one in store elsewhere.
I would never buy a bike from this company - all you have to do is look at all the bad reviews of people with similar experiences.
It is clear they are scammers.

It is now August and no bike despite ordering it in May. I have put a claim in with paypal resolution centre.

"Stay away"
Bought bike, decided after a week or so to cancel it as I hadn't heard anything from them about delivery and had emailed them to find out when delivery would be and it was just ignored, so requested order to be cancelled on 16th June and again email was ignored. Still no bike, still no communication. Now have today, opened a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. I would advise people not to buy from this company.

"Terrible customer service."
Bought a Norfee bar bag from Mango bikes because it was advertised as completely waterproof. It isn't at all waterproof, first sign of rain and the contents all ended up damp. I wouldn't give 1 star for that alone, but I've tried contacting them several times to discuss the issue and have had no response. Terrible customer service, definitely won't buy from them again.
