"Absolutely appalling customer services"

Absolutely appalling customer services. Estimated my monthly bill to be more than my annual usage despite having sent meter readings of actual usage a month earlier. Gave an update meter reading which was so obviously lower but told me I still needed to pay my existing bill amount (10 times higher than the real bill will be) and then told me if I didn't pay there would be a late payment fee - but when I asked them how much that would be, they couldn't tell me. I'm taking the risk and not paying my current bill as after reading these reviews, I'm not confident they will re-imburse me the credit balance timely - which is important for a small business. I have provide all my evidence to solvemyproblem address with hope this will be resolved - but so far my experience with SES Water is not giving me much faith

"Terrible customer service and…"

Terrible customer service and administration . SES Water owe us £39000 incorrectly collected by direct debit and are refusing to repay us the full amount after many months of poor communications , saying they will repay in instalments . Absolutely ridiculous !

"If only minus stars were available"

If only minus stars were available!
We have been targeted by SES Business Water for over 2 years now for an invoice that didn’t belong to us. This started by a simple small invoice sent to our home address demanding a payment for commercial water. We made an initial phone call to make them aware of an incorrectly addressed water bill. Instead of starting an investigation to find the correct assignee to the water meter they have used our details to update their systems resulting in us being bombarded for over 2 years with invoices, demand letter and threats, even our families and landlords were involved. Our case eventually ended up at debt collectors. It took one single phone call from the debt collectors to understand where the problem was and to rewind the whole story to its core beginning and start the investigation.
We are still fighting for justice as they can’t just walk off from this utter mess caused solely by their complete incompetence.

"Terrible experience"

Absolutely agree with other reviewers, my experience of having to deal with SES Business Water has been shocking. The first time they got in touch with us was with a final demand £450 ish pounds followed by a letter indicating due to a change in tenancy they were billing for a two year prior period however they are not my supplier and the metre No isn't mine.
I am not a tenant I own my property and my business operates from there and has done for the past 12 years. I have paid my water bill to my actual supplier for that period of time also. I have received notice to terminate the water supply that they don't even supply. Threats of debt collection and have sent numerous emails to which I get absolutely irrelevant pointless response. Have asked for escalation which doesn't happen (escalation to billing for an issue that has been going on since August is not my idea of escalation. I want to speak to a member of the senior management team as per their escalation process and for some reason they don't want to speak to me. I have given my telephone number on numerous occasions and advised I can be contacted at any time but to reply with when is the best time to contact you 2 weeks later is taking the p***. "As with other reviewers"

As with other reviewers, my experience of having to deal with SES Business Water has been shocking. The first time they got in touch with us was with a final demand, promptly followed by a notice to terminate the water supply - we werent even informed in writing that we even held an account with them! Since then have bombarded us with bills totalling thusands and thousands of pounds, with ridiculous estimations, despite us being a tiny business! For over a year I have been trying to resolve this with them, however they fail to listen or provide any adequate solution. Undoubtely one, if not the most frustrating experiences I have ever had to deal with. I have already used the 'solve my problem' route that I know they will reply here with, and got nowhere, all they want is my direct debit details so they can take money. So I am now forced to try another approach to draw this painful experience to an end. I hope this review helps someone condsidering using this shambles of a company, and take heed & go elsewhere.

"Is this company a scam because it feels like it?"

This company came out of nowhere asking for £50k!!! no notice of bills going unpaid, no attempt to send reminder letters or bills, since we registered the correct billing address still no correct bills being sent to us! Several emails and call later We're being asked why we can't make a payment for the £50k it feels like a scam because of the lack of evidence from this company and the ongoing issues with not sending full detailed bills to evidence the amount being billed. A complaint has been logged and no response has been received, I feel there is also a language barrier here and no willingness to address the billing issues with the online access and discrepancies it raises. it feels like the only way out is to pay them off to be able to move elsewhere.

"Grossly overestimated bills"

For over 2 years grossly overestimating meter reads almost every month even though they are sent reads at the end of each month. Overcharged by over £2,000 last year, there is nothing you can do as payment is taken by DD before they reply to query. This has happened again this year. Customer services are hopeless, rude and unhelpful. When I said the only way to get correct bills is to change to another supplier - they very helpfully sent instructions to leave!!!!

"Avoid at any cost"

Avoid at any cost. Liars and time wasters

Edited:

1). We never received a bill by post or email. Instead, we are distracted by UK Search debt collection each time it's time to pay a bill.

2). Your team is slow with replies and has outdated information.

3). The meter readings you charge are wrong and overcharged.

I don't want to call or waste more time. We need to work and do business. We are in the process of changing the water supplier to someone reasonable and fair.

"Proactive response to billing query"

I needed to contact the company to deal with a billing issue stemming from inaccurate usage estimates. My queries were dealt with swiftly, with appropriate authority inside the company, and most helpfully a pro-active solution to hopefully prevent issues recurring in the future. The responsive and personal touch in dealing with my queries created a very positive impression as a customer.
